Mark 9:1-29 KJV
[1] And he said unto them, Verily I say unto you, That there be some of them that stand here, which shall not taste of death, till they have seen the kingdom of God come with power. [2] And after six days Jesus taketh with him Peter, and James, and John, and leadeth them up into an high mountain apart by themselves: and he was transfigured before them. [3] And his raiment became shining, exceeding white as snow; so as no fuller on earth can white them. [4] And there appeared unto them Elias with Moses: and they were talking with Jesus. [5] And Peter answered and said to Jesus, Master, it is good for us to be here: and let us make three tabernacles; one for thee, and one for Moses, and one for Elias. [6] For he wist not what to say; for they were sore afraid. [7] And there was a cloud that overshadowed them: and a voice came out of the cloud, saying, This is my beloved Son: hear him. [8] And suddenly, when they had looked round about, they saw no man any more, save Jesus only with themselves. [9] And as they came down from the mountain, he charged them that they should tell no man what things they had seen, till the Son of man were risen from the dead. [10] And they kept that saying with themselves, questioning one with another what the rising from the dead should mean. [11] And they asked him, saying, Why say the scribes that Elias must first come? [12] And he answered and told them, Elias verily cometh first, and restoreth all things; and how it is written of the Son of man, that he must suffer many things, and be set at nought. [13] But I say unto you, That Elias is indeed come, and they have done unto him whatsoever they listed, as it is written of him. [14] And when he came to his disciples, he saw a great multitude about them, and the scribes questioning with them. [15] And straightway all the people, when they beheld him, were greatly amazed, and running to him saluted him. [16] And he asked the scribes, What question ye with them? [17] And one of the multitude answered and said, Master, I have brought unto thee my son, which hath a dumb spirit; [18] and wheresoever he taketh him, he teareth him: and he foameth, and gnasheth with his teeth, and pineth away: and I spake to thy disciples that they should cast him out; and they could not. [19] He answereth him, and saith, O faithless generation, how long shall I be with you? how long shall I suffer you? bring him unto me. [20] And they brought him unto him: and when he saw him, straightway the spirit tare him; and he fell on the ground, and wallowed foaming. [21] And he asked his father, How long is it ago since this came unto him? And he said, Of a child. [22] And ofttimes it hath cast him into the fire, and into the waters, to destroy him: but if thou canst do any thing, have compassion on us, and help us. [23] Jesus said unto him, If thou canst believe, all things are possible to him that believeth. [24] And straightway the father of the child cried out, and said with tears, Lord, I believe; help thou mine unbelief. [25] When Jesus saw that the people came running together, he rebuked the foul spirit, saying unto him, Thou dumb and deaf spirit, I charge thee, come out of him, and enter no more into him. [26] And the spirit cried, and rent him sore, and came out of him: and he was as one dead; insomuch that many said, He is dead. [27] But Jesus took him by the hand, and lifted him up; and he arose. [28] And when he was come into the house, his disciples asked him privately, Why could not we cast him out? [29] And he said unto them, This kind can come forth by nothing, but by prayer and fasting.

Note for 20250120
What did we just read? Do you think it too great a feat for GOD to merge time together on that mount so that Jesus, Moses and Elijah all came there, in their own time and met, across time? Did Moses not shine too, in need to cover his face from the children of Israel? We cannot say that it happened in that way, nor can we say it didn't. For with GOD, all things are possible, is He restricted by time?
Here, Jesus says to His disciples that Elijah has already come, and elsewhere it is recorded that it was John the Baptist that came in the spirit of Elijah. So, that Prophecy has been fulfilled. Is it not recorded in the book of Numbers, how GOD took some of the Spirit that was with Moses, and brought it on the seventy elders? What man deems impossible, GOD can do.
What then about verse 1?
Mark 9:1 KJV
[1] And he said unto them, Verily I say unto you, That there be some of them that stand here, which shall not taste of death, till they have seen the kingdom of God come with power.

Did Peter, James and John not see the transfiguration? Did they not receive the Holy Spirit when Christ breathed on them, appearing to them in a locked room after His resurrection? Were they not present at Pentecost, for the outpouring of the Holy Spirit? Has the Kingdom of GOD not come in great power? Did Christ not say that the Kingdom of GOD is in us? And are we not joined to that Kingdom for our faith in Jesus Christ, the Son of GOD, of whom GOD the Father testify of here upon the mount of transfiguration? How can we say, our Lord delay His coming, when He has poured out His Spirit in us? Did Christ not say, He will never leave, nor forsake us? Man's problem is thus in faith. Hear the plea of this father of the Son Jesus heals, "help us in our unbelief." Did the Father not say upon the mount, "This is My beloved Son, hear Him;" to Peter James and John? What of Moses and Elijah, weren't they there at the time?
I told you, man makes a parallax error, judging eternal things from a mortal space. To receive the Truth, we must be joined in Spirit to Him that is eternal. Even now, there are some that say, "where does this man get this from?" The answer is, "From the Holy Spirit," without which nothing of heaven can be perceived by man in truth. Still sceptical? How did Christ appear to the Apostle Paul? Who called him to service and guided him in all to do?
Do you hear the Word of GOD? Do you hear His Beloved Son? Is the Word of GOD not transcribed for us, that confirms what we receive from within? So we say Amen, and who is not joined in Christ are still like blind men. Why run to men for consultation on matters of GOD, when GOD is near and available to all who will call upon Him by Name. And the Name that was given to us, is that of His Son, Jesus Christ of Nazareth, GOD'S only begotten Son, of Whom He said, "Hear Him."
Do you still struggle with your belief? Then pray as this father did, "Help us in our unbelief." For it is GOD Who pours out the measure of the Holy Spirit in each. Whatsoever you shall ask the LORD in the Name of Jesus Christ, what is written that you will receive? Pray then in the Spirit, not in the carnal mind and heart. Seek ye first the Kingdom of GOD, and His righteousness, and all these things shall be added unto you.
Now is the time to stand in full preparation for...

Verse of The Day
From the YouVersion Bible App for 20250122 (Extended from verse 21)
Proverbs 19:20-23 KJV
[20] Hear counsel, and receive instruction, That thou mayest be wise in thy latter end. [21] There are many devices in a man's heart; Nevertheless the counsel of the LORD, that shall stand. [22] The desire of a man is his kindness: And a poor man is better than a liar. [23] The fear of the LORD tendeth to life: And he that hath it shall abide satisfied; He shall not be visited with evil.

Let us remind ourselves of yesterday's Verse of the Day extract from scripture:
Psalm 119:9-16 KJV
[9] Wherewithal shall a young man cleanse his way? By taking heed thereto according to thy word. [10] With my whole heart have I sought thee: O let me not wander from thy commandments. [11] Thy word have I hid in mine heart, That I might not sin against thee. [12] Blessed art thou, O LORD: Teach me thy statutes. [13] With my lips have I declared All the judgments of thy mouth. [14] I have rejoiced in the way of thy testimonies, As much as in all riches. [15] I will meditate in thy precepts, And have respect unto thy ways. [16] I will delight myself in thy statutes: I will not forget thy word.
