1. Opening
There are a few ways in which you can partake in the Daily Devotional:
We are to receive the Word of GOD by the Spirit, so I strongly urge you to pray before you receive the Devotional. Let Christ take the lead in your Spiritual Development.
Introduction
We have been going through a couple of intense days as all eyes were on Jerusalem and the Feast of Trumpets. At the same time, much was said at the assembly of the United Nations, on which I prefer not to expand to much, but our Daily Devotional comes from the Verse of the Day, which is in itself a marker to break somewhat of a silence that I have been kept in over the Festive Days of Israel. My Last recorded message being from the 22nd of September 2025, “Minds Made Up”, all eyes on Jerusalem in the meanwhile.
Let’s look at the Verse of the Day

Daniel 12:3 KJV
[3] And they that be wise shall shine as the brightness of the firmament; and they that turn many to righteousness as the stars for ever and ever.

3. Devotional Reflection
Who are these? And just as the text indicates here, it takes wisdom to know. Not conventional wisdom or intelligence, but wisdom whereof King Solomon also wrote. Wisdom, the applied knowledge of a higher Source than us, with the discerning Spirit from GOD on High, in the Name of Jesus Christ. Who are these that will shine like this? Well, if you navigated here from the Verse of the Day, it is really prudent to receive the entire chapter.
Daniel 12:1-13 KJV
[1] And at that time shall Michael stand up, the great prince which standeth for the children of thy people: and there shall be a time of trouble, such as never was since there was a nation even to that same time: and at that time thy people shall be delivered, every one that shall be found written in the book. [2] And many of them that sleep in the dust of the earth shall awake, some to everlasting life, and some to shame and everlasting contempt. [3] And they that be wise shall shine as the brightness of the firmament; and they that turn many to righteousness as the stars for ever and ever. [4] But thou, O Daniel, shut up the words, and seal the book, even to the time of the end: many shall run to and fro, and knowledge shall be increased. [5] Then I Daniel looked, and, behold, there stood other two, the one on this side of the bank of the river, and the other on that side of the bank of the river. [6] And one said to the man clothed in linen, which was upon the waters of the river, How long shall it be to the end of these wonders? [7] And I heard the man clothed in linen, which was upon the waters of the river, when he held up his right hand and his left hand unto heaven, and sware by him that liveth for ever that it shall be for a time, times, and an half; and when he shall have accomplished to scatter the power of the holy people, all these things shall be finished. [8] And I heard, but I understood not: then said I, O my Lord, what shall be the end of these things? [9] And he said, Go thy way, Daniel: for the words are closed up and sealed till the time of the end. [10] Many shall be purified, and made white, and tried; but the wicked shall do wickedly: and none of the wicked shall understand; but the wise shall understand. [11] And from the time that the daily sacrifice shall be taken away, and the abomination that maketh desolate set up, there shall be a thousand two hundred and ninety days. [12] Blessed is he that waiteth, and cometh to the thousand three hundred and five and thirty days. [13] But go thou thy way till the end be: for thou shalt rest, and stand in thy lot at the end of the days.

It is not I that brought you to this chapter, it started with the Verse of the Day, that in true fashion of mankind looks at the benefit that can be gained if we walk on in a way that pleases GOD. Why do we need to be rewarded for doing that which is right? Is righteousness not what goes forth from those that live in gratitude to GOD? Righteousness is the expected outcome from the vessels of GOD. But, the moment we look a little deeper into this chapter we discover a prophecy that most do not want to hear or talk about. Partly, because of what is said in it to begin with, that these words are sealed up unto the end. Did you understand them?
Over the last few days there has been so much talk about the rapture and the possibility of the return of Christ Jesus. Some have gotten themselves quite entangled by higher things, and are now on the defensive of their statements. Prophets exposed with no weight in their words. Shall we now abandon them? Will we hear them now? Or, has the time come for some to leave the lifted places and return to the audience and learn to set aside their confusions. Who are we to judge one another as we walk around in filthy garments all depending on the Son of GOD to cleanse us. Sinners, saved by grace, yet met by many with stone in hand. Remember, Christ died for all, but only those who believe upon Him shall see their reward. Once again, why must there be a reward, can't we just do the right things? May the reward be in righteousness itself, which is pleasing before our Father in Heaven. May our delight be that He is pleased in His Creation.
Who are these that shine? Who are these that leads many to righteousness and is our righteousness not in Jesus Christ? So, lead them to a gift from Heaven, not? What is the fame of that, it is not us giving, but GOD.
Now, there might be some that think to themselves, "you cannot quote Daniel 12 without explaining a little." Do you want to delve into the 42 months and when Michael stands up for GOD'S people? Shall we just ignore all the things said at the UN over the festive period of Israel? Shall I remain silent on my disagreement with our own President? Has he shown himself an enemy of Jerusalem? Shall our entire nation be torn in two for his support of a two-state so lotion and his demand that the territories gained in 1967 be handed back to Palestine, the inhabitants of Canaan? GOD warned Israel that those left would become a net unto them, and more so, GOD's Prophets warned that the land will be decided, so we can expect that to come by the Truth of GOD. But, do we want to be part of an insurrection against the Throne of GOD?
I will not!
GOD'S will be done, but I will not stand with His enemies. Israel is GOD'S business. When they repent, GOD will turn His attention on those that came against them.
The thing is, to gain some understanding of what you read here in Daniel 12, you need more than just this chapter. Wisdom starts by the fear of the LORD, in reverence to Him Who sits on the Most High Throne above all. And in that reverence, to bring in His Word into your heart, that it may live in you, written on the tables of your heart. And if you do not yearn for righteousness, if you thirst not after it, how will you be filled?

[6] Blessed are they which do hunger and thirst after righteousness: for they shall be filled.

Do you know the beatitudes from Matthew 5, spoken by The Word Made Flesh at the Sermon on the Mount? Surely if you hunger and thirst for righteousness, you have eaten and drunk from the Word of GOD? And if you have, whose opinion counts? Mine? Yours?... Or GOD'S? Is that not what we find in the Word, even left behind for us in written form so we will have no excuse? I don't want you to hear me, or hear others who may suffer from their own opinions too; but that you will hear from GOD. If I explain Daniel 12, you have heard me, and all these words I wrote here, is only for this: That you will return on your knees to GOD through Jesus Christ.
Who remembers the Verse of the Day from Yesterday?
John 14:6 KJV
[6] Jesus saith unto him, I am the way, the truth, and the life: no man cometh unto the Father, but by me.

The verse of the day speaks to those who are part of the ministry of Jesus Christ, friends. Ministers of the righteousness of Christ, testifying of Him, so others may come into His righteousness and in obedience, the Father and the Son will come and make Their abode in them, by the Holy Spirit of GOD. That we be one with Christ and one another, while the world tears apart at the seams in hate. We all need Jesus, even those who were confused waiting for a rapture instead of watching for the return of Jesus Christ. Can you receive it?
1 Thessalonians 4:13-18 KJV
[13] But I would not have you to be ignorant, brethren, concerning them which are asleep, that ye sorrow not, even as others which have no hope. [14] For if we believe that Jesus died and rose again, even so them also which sleep in Jesus will God bring with him. [15] For this we say unto you by the word of the Lord, that we which are alive and remain unto the coming of the Lord shall not prevent them which are asleep. [16] For the Lord himself shall descend from heaven with a shout, with the voice of the archangel, and with the trump of God: and the dead in Christ shall rise first: [17] then we which are alive and remain shall be caught up together with them in the clouds, to meet the Lord in the air: and so shall we ever be with the Lord. [18] Wherefore comfort one another with these words.

[1] Now we beseech you, brethren, by the coming of our Lord Jesus Christ, and by our gathering together unto him, [2] that ye be not soon shaken in mind, or be troubled, neither by spirit, nor by word, nor by letter as from us, as that the day of Christ is at hand. [3] Let no man deceive you by any means: for that day shall not come, except there come a falling away first, and that man of sin be revealed, the son of perdition; [4] who opposeth and exalteth himself above all that is called God, or that is worshipped; so that he as God sitteth in the temple of God, shewing himself that he is God.

Friends, don't you understand that these must be in you. You cannot depend on me to bring this to you over and over, it should reside in you, it must be part of you. For if I should be received by the LORD, and my race be run, who will show you the way then? No, not me, but let Christ Jesus be your guide, let the Word of GOD dwell in you, and you can eat the Word of GOD by eating from the written Word (which is to be received by the Holy Spirit of GOD.) To put it in simpler terms, I can only show you where the well is, you must drink. I can show you how to drink, but still, that fills me, not you. You must drink, you must draw it out and receive it into a reborn being.
Daniel 12 has nothing for you, except fear, if you know not the presence of GOD within. It starts and ends with Jesus Christ. He is the beginning and the end. Many have heard this since they were young, never bringing it in, just letting it float in their minds and never transforming their hearts, still standing in a hate towards one another. But, when these times come in that we read of here in Daniel, then you must be ready. Oil and lamp in hand, friends. And I put it to you that these times are coming in soon, if we have not trampled the border of it already.
The Word of Christ is clear, He comes at a time we expect Him not. So be ready at all times. The ministry of Christ was that the Kingdom of GOD is near, even at hand. He also stated that the Kingdom of GOD is in us. And I have eluded how you gain entry into that Kingdom. Nobody goes to the Father except through Jesus Christ, who was returned to us by the Holy Spirit, where He will never leave nor forsake us. Take these words and search for them in the Word of GOD and read those chapters and make it yours, so it is with you all the time.
4. Closing Paragraph
Though we stand at the boundary of what Daniel wrote of here in Daniel 12, you cannot receive this without receiving Christ in truth first.
