Mark 2:1-12 KJV
[1] And again he entered into Capernaum after some days; and it was noised that he was in the house. [2] And straightway many were gathered together, insomuch that there was no room to receive them, no, not so much as about the door: and he preached the word unto them. [3] And they come unto him, bringing one sick of the palsy, which was borne of four. [4] And when they could not come nigh unto him for the press, they uncovered the roof where he was: and when they had broken it up, they let down the bed wherein the sick of the palsy lay. [5] When Jesus saw their faith, he said unto the sick of the palsy, Son, thy sins be forgiven thee. [6] But there were certain of the scribes sitting there, and reasoning in their hearts, [7] Why doth this man thus speak blasphemies? who can forgive sins but God only? [8] And immediately when Jesus perceived in his spirit that they so reasoned within themselves, he said unto them, Why reason ye these things in your hearts? [9] Whether is it easier to say to the sick of the palsy, Thy sins be forgiven thee; or to say, Arise, and take up thy bed, and walk? [10] But that ye may know that the Son of man hath power on earth to forgive sins, (he saith to the sick of the palsy,) [11] I say unto thee, Arise, and take up thy bed, and go thy way into thine house. [12] And immediately he arose, took up the bed, and went forth before them all; insomuch that they were all amazed, and glorified God, saying, We never saw it on this fashion.

Mark 2:10-11 KJV

"We have never seen it on this fashion." (Verse 12) They said in response, as they glorified GOD.
Just about every sermon that I have heard on this account of the healing of this paralysed man has been on the faith of those who carried him. The effort that they put in to get him seen of Christ, because of this great multitude in the house. There were some that spoke on the counter of the scribes, but truly the wealth of knowledge is in why Christ healed the man right in their sight. That they may know, the Son of man has power on earth to forgive sins.
Much has been said about this healing, and the forgiveness of sin. Do you remember when Christ said that whatever we remit here on earth will be remitted in heaven, and what is retained is retained in heaven? Also, Jesus said that He speaks nothing but that which He heard from His Father in Heaven. GOD forgives, we bring the message of forgiveness. We are not GOD, we are His messengers, servants and, if we believe in Jesus Christ, His children. Born of GOD, in the Holy Spirit. Whatsoever we ask of GOD in the Name of Jesus Christ, He will give unto us. Do we then pray for forgiveness of sin, or for the condemnation of those GOD loves? Love covers a multitude of sins, not?
You see, the scribes spoke in a way of condemnation, calling it blasphemy; but, Jesus Christ showed the Love of GOD, according to the Will of GOD. It is GOD's will that none be lost of those He gave to Christ. Jesus healed this man, so that we may know that the Son of man has the power to forgive sins on earth. First He forgave the sin, to which the scribes took offense, and murmured.
Dare I ask if Christ were alone in healing people, have we not read that people healed, just for the shadow of Paul falling on them? GOD's will be done, in healing, but firstly, in the forgiveness of sin, by what Christ has done upon the cross. So, may all those who have healing accounted to them on this day, be healed in the love of Christ Jesus, the Son of GOD, and their sin be forgiven. May they repent of their sin, and sin no more. If you believe, not only will you be healed, but your sin is written off too. Thrown in the sea of forgetfulness, as far as the east is from the west. Let our confidence be in Jesus Christ, to speak the will of our Father in Heaven.
What then is it that you know? What have you learned regarding Him you pray to? Is His will to destroy you, or to forgive and heal you? What then is the good news we are to share around? That some day ahead your sins will be forgiven, or that it was forgiven on the cross, way back then already? The forgiveness of sin is effective in Christ Jesus, we are just adopted in, by our faith in Him. Christ died for all mankind, for the forgiveness of their sin. When we say your sin is forgiven, we do not say anymore than what was made True by Christ upon the cross. It is a statement of truth. It is done, we just bring the message of it.
Take this Good News with you out into the world each day. The Gospel of Jesus Christ, that the Kingdom of GOD is at hand.
Shalom.
