Hebrews 6:1-20 KJV
[1] Therefore leaving the principles of the doctrine of Christ, let us go on unto perfection; not laying again the foundation of repentance from dead works, and of faith toward God, [2] of the doctrine of baptisms, and of laying on of hands, and of resurrection of the dead, and of eternal judgment. [3] And this will we do, if God permit. [4] For it is impossible for those who were once enlightened, and have tasted of the heavenly gift, and were made partakers of the Holy Ghost, [5] and have tasted the good word of God, and the powers of the world to come, [6] if they shall fall away, to renew them again unto repentance; seeing they crucify to themselves the Son of God afresh, and put him to an open shame. [7] For the earth which drinketh in the rain that cometh oft upon it, and bringeth forth herbs meet for them by whom it is dressed, receiveth blessing from God: [8] but that which beareth thorns and briers is rejected, and is nigh unto cursing; whose end is to be burned. [9] But, beloved, we are persuaded better things of you, and things that accompany salvation, though we thus speak. [10] For God is not unrighteous to forget your work and labour of love, which ye have shewed toward his name, in that ye have ministered to the saints, and do minister. [11] And we desire that every one of you do shew the same diligence to the full assurance of hope unto the end: [12] that ye be not slothful, but followers of them who through faith and patience inherit the promises. [13] For when God made promise to Abraham, because he could swear by no greater, he sware by himself, [14] saying, Surely blessing I will bless thee, and multiplying I will multiply thee. [15] And so, after he had patiently endured, he obtained the promise. [16] For men verily swear by the greater: and an oath for confirmation is to them an end of all strife. [17] Wherein God, willing more abundantly to shew unto the heirs of promise the immutability of his counsel, confirmed it by an oath: [18] that by two immutable things, in which it was impossible for God to lie, we might have a strong consolation, who have fled for refuge to lay hold upon the hope set before us: [19] which hope we have as an anchor of the soul, both sure and stedfast, and which entereth into that within the veil; [20] whither the forerunner is for us entered, even Jesus, made an high priest for ever after the order of Melchisedec.

Note for 20241122
We are saved by Christ Jesus our Lord. We cannot save ourselves, our works may count for good in obedience, but it is the righteousness of Christ that is our Salvation. We have already transgressed the Law of GOD, which makes us sinners. We are saved by Him, Who has never broken the Law. He sits in perfection at the right hand of GOD our Father in Heaven. Forever.
We have failed already; yet, in Christ we are forgiven. He is willing and able to forgive, able as an High Priest, making atonement for His own. Where we failed, He succeeded, even fulfilling the whole Law. Sealed by the gravestone, a life lived perfect before the LORD GOD Almighty. One of Adam, to undo the curse of sin. Of order by GOD, ordained and sanctified. So, GOD made His Son the Head of the House, the ruler over all creation, established forever. We were given to Christ by GOD who made us. Yes, like a bride, we must become one in Spirit and in Truth.
Now for us, who are seen as Gentiles (though we are made one in Christ;) These words may seem a little foreign. We cannot trace our lines back to Abraham. Even if there was a line, how would we know today? Our history lies in obscurity, in faded lines, covered by the sand of forgetfulness. Even so, if we could trace a line back to King David himself, what will it benefit us? Those lines cannot save us. No! The salvation of mankind is sealed by Jesus Christ, the Son of GOD and our coming King.
However, now that we know our Salvation, that it is indeed by grace alone, a free gift given in the Love of GOD; shall we then go on living as we once did? Yes, all fall short of the Glory of GOD, but do we have to carry on to live like the Godless? We have a Hope, we are not hopeless. We have a promise, we are no longer orphans in this world. We have a Father in Heaven and we have Jesus Christ our King. We are no longer alone and disregarded, but regarded in High Esteem, as believers, even as the Bride of Jesus Christ. We are the children by adoption, called in and chosen. Elected from amongst the people who stand in enmity with GOD. We are saved, by mercy and grace. We are saved by the Mercy and Grace of GOD, and in our faith in Jesus Christ, our sins are forgiven. Sinners, saved by grace.
Shall we then go forth ungrateful? For we were set for death by our efforts to save ourselves. Our own justifications and excuses failed us, we in ourselves were imperfect. We are forgiven, washed clean by the Blood of Jesus Christ, in His righteousness. Is there a place for pride in a free gift? And if we receive it freely, can we withhold it from those that it is intended for?
Man stands in a parallax error, viewing heavenly things from an earthly perspective. So. Must we then be guided by the Word of One that is Perfect and without such error.
We are saved by GOD'S Grace.
Shalom

Deuteronomy 6:4-9 KJV
[4] Hear, O Israel: The LORD our God is one LORD: [5] and thou shalt love the LORD thy God with all thine heart, and with all thy soul, and with all thy might. [6] And these words, which I command thee this day, shall be in thine heart: [7] and thou shalt teach them diligently unto thy children, and shalt talk of them when thou sittest in thine house, and when thou walkest by the way, and when thou liest down, and when thou risest up. [8] And thou shalt bind them for a sign upon thine hand, and they shall be as frontlets between thine eyes. [9] And thou shalt write them upon the posts of thy house, and on thy gates.
