Note for 2024/06/06 - Romans 2:1-29 KJV - Use Good Judgment
Romans 2:1-29 KJV
[1] Therefore thou art inexcusable, O man, whosoever thou art that judgest: for wherein thou judgest another, thou condemnest thyself; for thou that judgest doest the same things. [2] But we are sure that the judgment of God is according to truth against them which commit such things. [3] And thinkest thou this, O man, that judgest them which do such things, and doest the same, that thou shalt escape the judgment of God? [4] Or despisest thou the riches of his goodness and forbearance and longsuffering; not knowing that the goodness of God leadeth thee to repentance? [5] But after thy hardness and impenitent heart treasurest up unto thyself wrath against the day of wrath and revelation of the righteous judgment of God; [6] Who will render to every man according to his deeds: [7] to them who by patient continuance in well doing seek for glory and honour and immortality, eternal life: [8] but unto them that are contentious, and do not obey the truth, but obey unrighteousness, indignation and wrath, [9] tribulation and anguish, upon every soul of man that doeth evil, of the Jew first, and also of the Gentile; [10] but glory, honour, and peace, to every man that worketh good, to the Jew first, and also to the Gentile: [11] for there is no respect of persons with God. [12] For as many as have sinned without law shall also perish without law: and as many as have sinned in the law shall be judged by the law; [13] (for not the hearers of the law are just before God, but the doers of the law shall be justified. [14] For when the Gentiles, which have not the law, do by nature the things contained in the law, these, having not the law, are a law unto themselves: [15] which shew the work of the law written in their hearts, their conscience also bearing witness, and their thoughts the mean while accusing or else excusing one another;) [16] in the day when God shall judge the secrets of men by Jesus Christ according to my gospel. [17] Behold, thou art called a Jew, and restest in the law, and makest thy boast of God, [18] and knowest his will, and approvest the things that are more excellent, being instructed out of the law; [19] and art confident that thou thyself art a guide of the blind, a light of them which are in darkness, [20] an instructor of the foolish, a teacher of babes, which hast the form of knowledge and of the truth in the law. [21] Thou therefore which teachest another, teachest thou not thyself? thou that preachest a man should not steal, dost thou steal? [22] Thou that sayest a man should not commit adultery, dost thou commit adultery? thou that abhorrest idols, dost thou commit sacrilege? [23] Thou that makest thy boast of the law, through breaking the law dishonourest thou God? [24] For the name of God is blasphemed among the Gentiles through you, as it is written. [25] For circumcision verily profiteth, if thou keep the law: but if thou be a breaker of the law, thy circumcision is made uncircumcision. [26] Therefore if the uncircumcision keep the righteousness of the law, shall not his uncircumcision be counted for circumcision? [27] And shall not uncircumcision which is by nature, if it fulfil the law, judge thee, who by the letter and circumcision dost transgress the law? [28] For he is not a Jew, which is one outwardly; neither is that circumcision, which is outward in the flesh: [29] but he is a Jew, which is one inwardly; and circumcision is that of the heart, in the spirit, and not in the letter; whose praise is not of men, but of God.

Note for 2024/06/06
Inexcusable... Let that word just linger for a moment friends. Who among us is perfect? And once more I am taken to where Jesus Christ was in the presence of those that wanted to stone the woman caught in adultery, who then shall cast the first stone?
Friends, I do not condemn. I am simply speaking on the Truth that I have learned. These are like the things in our tool set, to consider our own lives. What is our response to the Word of GOD, excuses and justifications? Then, we are in trouble, friends, especially if we can not excuse one another in forgiveness. We pray, "forgive us our trespasses as we forgive those that trespass against us." Where is the love then, if we only forgive to be forgiven, is the focus then not on ourselves again? Why believe in the Lord Jesus Christ, if it is only to benefit ourselves? The heart of man is known by GOD. While it is possible to fool a man for a little while, GOD is never fooled at all. Friends, I say we, because I include myself, for the same reformation is required for all. Yes both Jew and Gentile.
We should truly have a full stop moment and consider, what is GOD'S will for mankind? Why did He create us? Who should be honored, the creation or the Creator? And if all of us are created, are we then not the same, while GOD is high and lifted up, Holy. Are we to be led by wild imaginations, and the inventions of created things? And what does GOD require from us to receive the free gift of Salvation in Jesus Christ? Repentance. And in repentance for our wrong, should we then not walk after righteousness, which is the example and instruction in Jesus Christ, the Son of GOD, that GOD The Father sent unto us, for the deliverance and redemption of mankind? Who then does the saving? Is it not GOD? But, saving from what? Sin, that leads to everlasting death. And then saved from death, unto what? Life everlasting in the Kingdom of GOD. Where then do we learn the rules of this Kingdom? For if we do as we please, we stand in our own kingdom, not GOD'S. But, if we bow the knee, if we surrender our crown to Christ Jesus our Lord, then we are brought into the Kingdom of GOD. Then we may be partakers of the things of that Kingdom. Else, we are nothing more than robbers and thieves. Who then Created all that we live in? Can He that made us then not redeem us? A High Price was paid on the Cross, we are bought by the Blood of Jesus Christ, He then is our Lord and Savior. But, did He do that just for you and me, or did He pay that High Price for all of mankind? And if then all of mankind, how can we bring a charge against one another, when we are saved in the same way, by a free gift of GOD? It is foolish to speak against the Living GOD, for then you speak against the Judge. Would you offend your Savior?
"And they repented not..." the words that bring my heart to lament. I repent, because I do not wish to grieve GOD. For me, it is GOD'S way, not mine. For He deserves all Honor and Praise. I worship Him for His merciful kindness and that He loved us first. He rescues us from trouble, He blesses and keeps us. All from the Love He has for us. And for all that, what does humanity repay Him with? Oh! My grieving heart, hold on steady to the promises of GOD. I pray that the lost may be found, that none shall perish for who hope remains. Is one of those you? Call upon the Name of GOD, follow His Ways. Do not be led away after the ways of this world, who hate GOD. The Word of GOD is there for our correction, for our direction and instruction.
Friends, may I plead with you? If the race is run, if all is done; what need would there be for us to be here? Then consider, why are we still here? Is the race over? Is all done that we were sent here for? So, then there is more to be done. The question that remains is, what? Investigate then for yourself, what is left to be done? Is there more to be learned? What corrections is it that remains for us to deal with? Where can we help others that may be struggling as we once did? Is the law of Moses not contained within the two greatest commands? To love GOD with all of our mind, heart and strength and our neighbor as yourself.
Shalom
Verse of the Day

Micah 6:8 KJV
[8] He hath shewed thee, O man, what is good; and what doth the LORD require of thee, but to do justly, and to love mercy, and to walk humbly with thy God?

In Application
James 2:20-22 KJV
[20] But wilt thou know, O vain man, that faith without works is dead? [21] Was not Abraham our father justified by works, when he had offered Isaac his son upon the altar? [22] Seest thou how faith wrought with his works, and by works was faith made perfect?

Conclusion
I told you, the Word of GOD is to be applied, it is not just for reading or hearing. Our daily activities and our moral compass must be adjusted to portray the principles of GOD’S Kingdom. It is not just in the courtroom, but everyday circumstances. In effect, we truly stand in GOD’S courtroom at every moment.
So, how do you forgive? Is it a thing of daily practice? Or, do we linger in the emotion of it, overtelling all that has happened, and all the sins of those we encountered on the day? Is love not supposed to cover a multitude of sins? And, if we then truly believe that GOD is the Judge, what business is it of ours to involve ourselves in it? Vengeance belongs to GOD, right? Are we then not like someone who is guilty of tampering with the jury as we gossip about all things?
Just a little something to ponder on before you discuss your day with someone again.
Shalom
