Note for 2024/05/24 - ‭2 Corinthians 3:1-18 KJV‬

‭2 Corinthians 3:1-18 KJV‬

[1] Do we begin again to commend ourselves? or need we, as some others, epistles of commendation to you, or letters of commendation from you? [2] Ye are our epistle written in our hearts, known and read of all men: [3] forasmuch as ye are manifestly declared to be the epistle of Christ ministered by us, written not with ink, but with the Spirit of the living God; not in tables of stone, but in fleshy tables of the heart. [4] And such trust have we through Christ to God-ward: [5] not that we are sufficient of ourselves to think any thing as of ourselves; but our sufficiency is of God; [6] who also hath made us able ministers of the new testament; not of the letter, but of the spirit: for the letter killeth, but the spirit giveth life. [7] But if the ministration of death, written and engraven in stones, was glorious, so that the children of Israel could not stedfastly behold the face of Moses for the glory of his countenance; which glory was to be done away: [8] how shall not the ministration of the spirit be rather glorious? [9] For if the ministration of condemnation be glory, much more doth the ministration of righteousness exceed in glory. [10] For even that which was made glorious had no glory in this respect, by reason of the glory that excelleth. [11] For if that which is done away was glorious, much more that which remaineth is glorious. [12] Seeing then that we have such hope, we use great plainness of speech: [13] and not as Moses, which put a vail over his face, that the children of Israel could not stedfastly look to the end of that which is abolished: [14] but their minds were blinded: for until this day remaineth the same vail untaken away in the reading of the old testament; which vail is done away in Christ. [15] But even unto this day, when Moses is read, the vail is upon their heart. [16] Nevertheless when it shall turn to the Lord, the vail shall be taken away. [17] Now the Lord is that Spirit: and where the Spirit of the Lord is, there is liberty. [18] But we all, with open face beholding as in a glass the glory of the Lord, are changed into the same image from glory to glory, even as by the Spirit of the Lord.

Note for 2024/05/24

Amen!

Do you remember the veil of separation, between the Holy of Holies in the Tabernacle and the Temple? When Christ died on the Cross, that veil was torn from top to bottom. Before, the High Priest could only go into the Holy of Holies once a year, after undergoing a process of purification. The Priest had to be sanctified and consecrated. Do you remember how those that touched the Ark of the Covenant, even just by accident, would fall down dead? Do you remember how the Ark was returned to Israel by those who took it as loot, because they became so plagued? Do you remember that Holy means separated too?

Friends, the Holy One of Israel, Our Father GOD in Heaven have become available for us to approach by way of Christ Jesus our Lord and Savior. What the veil once separated from us, is now approachable in Jesus Christ. Now, we are sanctified in Christ, consecrated in Him. The Law called for death to the sinner, but by the Spirit of GOD in the Name of Jesus Christ, we are invited to life, even to the presence of GOD. We have become the Temple of GOD. Have you not read, "the Kingdom of GOD is in you?"

That is part of what Paul is relaying here to the Corinthians. The letter kills, but the Spirit frees. That is the Liberty we have in Christ Jesus our Lord, that we may become the Children of GOD. The Law condemned, but Christ Jesus saved us by fulfilling the Law and the outpouring of the Spirit of GOD in us. The Law was written on stone, but in Christ The Word of GOD has taken residence in us by the Holy Spirit. So can we confirm the Word with an Amen! For the Holy Spirit in us confirms.

That all being said, what does this mean? It means that we have become the testimony of the Lord Jesus Christ when we stand in Him. Then, the Word of GOD is made alive in us too, as we obey and separate ourselves from the wickedness of this world. So, yes, contrary to what many false witnesses proclaim, we ourselves must go through the process of sanctification. We go through the process of deliverance, as we are washed clean by the working of The Holy Spirit of GOD in us. Forgiven, washed and clean, for the coming day of The Lord. At the Last Trump, resurrected, caught up to the Lord in the air, as the final act in our redemption. Restored to GOD, from Whom we came.

Of course there is more. I have found that there is always more to know and understand. Always. The more I learn, the more I know, I know nothing yet. The LORD is Perfect in every way, His Redemption Plan, without flaw. For what was once veiled off, has become accessible to us, and Christ the Doorway. Flesh cannot receive it, nor enter into The Kingdom of GOD, for GOD is Spirit and He is HOLY.

Shalom

Verse for the Day

‭Psalm 42:11 KJV‬

[11] Why art thou cast down, O my soul? And why art thou disquieted within me? Hope thou in God; For I shall yet praise him, who is the health of my countenance, and my God.
