3rd Day of the Week

Daily reading:

1 Kings 17-19
Psalms 28
Genesis 6-7
Romans 4
Psalms 27:14

Daily writing:

Oh! Lord my GOD, have mercy on us. Remember Your promises to mankind. Lord, You know the movement of my heart and mind and that it is only by Your Merciful Gift that I am saved. My LORD, in all that I have read this morning, even of the subtext that you spoke of, how am I able to share here what You have shown me? I feel unable and incompetent to share such a great message. So, I ask for Your Help, who can say it better than You my LORD? Lead me by Your Holy Spirit and give me the Word that must be said this day.
LORD, I am overwhelmed by Your Greatness; Your evidence for faith is more than I can state. How can I , a human being, perform such a great commission? And yet, I know, it must be heard. I wait on You LORD. I await Your guidance and inspiration. Here I am, do with me as You please; I am Yours.
May Your Name be magnified in all the nations, may all of creation bow before Your Almighty Name. I trust in You, Oh! LORD of wonders, for an act of GOD. Your will, not mine; to the Glory of Your Name, perform that as You Will, as You promised.
Amen

Who among you can say that he is of great knowledge; yea, who can claim to have seen My face? Did I not say to Elijah, "I am on the move?" You don't know, because you do not read. You think you can overcome without any effort. How did Elijah get to the cave and did I not send him back again? Did he not walk? But you, you want to be whisked out of danger. You shout, "Oh! Lord, please save me!" And when I say, "walk," you say, "Lord it is too far." How then did the Israelites arrive in Caanan, did they not walk too? Then ask yourself this; are you at least prepared to walk in faith?

Yea, MattitÝAHU; you live amongst spoon-fed Christians; that is how they claim their faith. But, when I say "Give" they answer, Ï don't have, give me then I shall give. And why do you not have? You did not save for any other than yourself; neither have you asked from Me in righteousness. Still, I give as need be; it rains on the righteous and the wicked. That will not always be. You saw for yourself, even when Abel was taken, I gave Seth. And still, you don't believe. You say you believe; show Me, where?

There are those left of righteousness; yes, even after the way of Abraham; a remanent is sustained to fulfil all My promises. Are you one of them? Do you trust in Me? Show Me, where? Yes, there is none that acquire righteousness of himself. It is a free gift given. For such, there is. And even as it is given, still man stands, spoon-fed. And here, now, you pray for Me to give what has been given but refused, how much more spoon feeding must I do?

I will give. I will give more-and-more, for the sake of My own Name. You asked, and now you will be given what you require. But, do not be as the kings of this world, to whom I gave and they ran after others. Yea, say it; they went out playing the whore. You, son of man, don't do this; for then I will send the plagues written of in My Word. You know them, for you have read.

What is accounted to man as righteousness, yea! Faith. So, I will meet you in your faith according to the measure thereof. What then is your faith? For a man that believes that a tree will fall on him; his faith shall be rewarded too. Do you believe what you read in My Word, then live by it. Do not say one thing but have your faith in another. Let your faith be true.

Shalom

Introspection:

I know that as time goes by, more will be added to read here. So, for that purpose, permit me to just give a brief break down again. What is the purpose of this "introspection" section of the daily blog? This is where I consider the things that I have read and what I have heard from GOD in the Spirit. Here, I remain in the Spirit, to exercise (for the lack of a better term right now,) to rule and reign with Christ in the Spirit over that which was given to me here. Another term would be "reflection."

As you see, today starts out with a prayer, which GOD permitted me to record in writing too. As I read and came to the end of reading for this day, I knew that I had my work in reflection for this day. You should really follow along in reading, but; I understand that not everyone has the amount of time to invest as what God has afforded me. I am well aware that I am in somewhat of a unique situation, Glory be to GOD for it.

Why did I feel so overwhelmed? Well, in short; in 1 Kings today, I read the famous account of Elijah and the prophets of Baal and all surrounding it, from the time he prophesied that it would not rain except for by his word, to him waiting on the mount for rain to come, including of Jezebel and the threats she made against him. Then, in Genesis, I read of the sons of God taking for themselves of the daughters of man and half (or so) of the flood account in Noah's time. A psalm from David to bring some perspective and then in Romans 4, Paul's narrative on the concept of faith and righteousness from Abraham to his current time. This is a book, not a blog post. It lends again to what I have stated on the blog before; I cannot share everything here. And then, on top of that is that which is in blue above. Some days, it feels like one must have a solid grip of understanding on all of man's history; just to understand one thing. That one thing today, is "FAITH."

So much have been said of faith in the past and even still in our time, but faith in what and how is faith applied? Do we believe the true account of the Word of GOD? Can we at least believe that what we need to know can be found in the Word today as we have it? Is there enough to secure our faith to the point of Salvation through Jesus Christ? The answer for me is, YES!

Let me expand a little further:
Who are the sons of GOD that took for themselves wives of the daughters of man? (Do you know that there are scholars that have devoted a lifetime just to understand this one thing?) You see, the flood came because of this action of the sons of GOD, that corrupted mankind even further than what the serpent caused in Eden. God destroyed the world because of it, even though we only have a partial account of it. Then, how does the Genesis 6 account, relate to even Jezebel the queen of Israel in her marriage to King Ahab? What about the 450 prophets of Baal, that was slayed after the sacrifice "show-off" event; who were they praying to and where does their faith stem from? These are huge, paradigm shifting accounts if understood better. From this can be understood who Jezebel was, where she came from and even why she would worship Baal. Understanding this would explain who the sons of Anak were, and why the Israelites saw themselves as grasshoppers in their sight. This explain even why David killed Goliath and was at war with those of Caanan God said to destroy utterly, male and female, even child and animal. It is all related to the Genesis 6 account, especially as it relates to the Genesis 3:15 account of the seed war between the seed of the woman and the seed of the serpent. I have investigated it, and hopefully here, I share enough for you to look into it. Because it is relevant, you do need to know; even Christ said that it will be like the days of Noah when He returns. Is that important enough for you to put some effort in, unto understanding? You will have to, because it is more than I can share here, I will see what links I can make available.

In stark contrast though, the focus falls on "FAITH" today. How can you answer if you believe the Word of GOD unless you have read it? Just a simple question to put things in perspective. What is it that you believe? Only that which you can wrap your head around? Or is all of the Word of GOD true? It is a measure of faith. Faith is a response from man to GOD's Word. The other responses are disbelief, rejection of the Word of God and even the hate of GOD. Now do you believe some of GOD's Word, but some accounts, not? Don't you know the Word of GOD is One; and in that ONE, Salvation comes? Okay, let us make it less intense; we are Christian after all, do you believe in the Words Christ spoke? What are they? Does hell exist according to Christ, is there an impending day of Judgment coming? According to Christ, if that is all you can look at now. What then is your faith about?

You may say, "Oh! I believe Jesus Christ of Nazareth is the Son of GOD." I will insert a passage from the Word for you:

Mark 5:6-10 (NIV) "When he saw Jesus from a distance, he ran and fell on his knees in front of him. He shouted at the top of his voice, “What do you want with me, Jesus, Son of the Most High God? In God’s name don’t torture me!” For Jesus had said to him, “Come out of this man, you impure spirit!” Then Jesus asked him, “What is your name?” “My name is Legion,” he replied, “for we are many.” And he begged Jesus again and again not to send them out of the area."

What do you say, do you think this impure spirit knew who Jesus was, maybe even better than those that were with them? Do you think this impure spirit believed Jesus is the Son of GOD? Let me give you one more example, just in case you think it is not a major thing.

Acts 19:13-17 (NIV) "Some Jews who went around driving out evil spirits tried to invoke the name of the Lord Jesus over those who were demon-possessed. They would say, “In the name of the Jesus whom Paul preaches, I command you to come out.” Seven sons of Sceva, a Jewish chief priest, were doing this. One day the evil spirit answered them, “Jesus I know, and Paul I know about, but who are you?” Then the man who had the evil spirit jumped on them and overpowered them all. He gave them such a beating that they ran out of the house naked and bleeding."

I can give you more, but then; to read the Word of GOD will give you all these scriptures too. And that is kind of the point. Do you think these sons of Sceva would have gone into that house if they knew they were going to get such a beating? What dangers do we walk into, because we do not know, because we didn't read?

Now ask yourself the next question, where does these demons come from? I am telling you that you must understand Genesis 6 and even Genesis 3:15; in fact, you need to understand the Old Testament. Our faith comes from the Jews, yes, and from Abraham; all because of Adam and Eve in Eden. How can you understand how pure Jesus was and how he fulfilled the whole law and prophecies about Him? How can you be assured of your salvation or are you going to merely trust the words of a man; yes, even me. You must search it out for yourself. You must repent from your sin and pray for salvation; I cannot do it on your behalf. All I can do is point you to Jesus Christ, who done all those acts for salvation on your behalf, now you must do your bit. What does it help if I tell you, you must repent and be saved, but I cannot tell you why or how? The threat is real, very real and if you read the Word of God you would know that. (And at this point I must excuse myself, if I am harping on this matter, I know there are those that read here that have come to salvation, but even then, strengthen your faith.)

When you repent and come unto salvation, that is where the race starts. Before you were a non-contender, standing in condemnation already. At that point you already lost the race. But now that you have come to faith, what is then required from you from here? I tell you, read the word of God, because there is no short version of it. Do you understand, to understand in full unto salvation, you surely need to come to the understanding of that which brings you to salvation and even of what comes thereafter. It is in the Word because GOD, the Creator of mankind, wants you to know.

If you should encounter a demon or unclean spirit (two terms), what will you do? What if you can't pass by or run away? Will the response be like the first example or the last? Most people don't even know what they are being protected from; and so, many becomes victims of such spirits, not even knowing.

Ephesians 6:10-13 (NIV) "Finally, be strong in the Lord and in his mighty power. Put on the full armor of God, so that you can take your stand against the devil’s schemes. For our struggle is not against flesh and blood, but against the rulers, against the authorities, against the powers of this dark world and against the spiritual forces of evil in the heavenly realms. Therefore put on the full armor of God, so that when the day of evil comes, you may be able to stand your ground, and after you have done everything, to stand."

Does this convince you that there is more to this story of the Bible? Yes, we are largely protected by the mercy and grace of GOD, but that doesn't make any of this less real. I don't go out looking for "trouble," but if it comes, at least I know this.

What is your faith? What is it that you believe in, you must be sure my friends.

For now, build up your faith in Jesus Christ and pray for protection from GOD above. But do not slack in your responsibility to grow in faith. Yes, and it largely start with reading the Word of GOD, immerse yourself in it. As you go along the path that GOD determined for you, you will learn more and more. Get ready for the day you were born for.

Here is a link to the Roman deities, the Greek mythical figures who largely intersect at some points, but it goes back further, because it stretches all the way back to Genesis 6. I want you to know that there are lies and misconceptions all over this; but they tell you what they believe in contradiction of our faith.  All of polytheism is against the GOD of Israel and even the devout in Judaism, stands against the Christian faith, they see it as idolatry. If you don't believe me, read your Bible or ask them if you dare.

Right now, you might think, it doesn't matter, but at some point, according to the Word of GOD; it will again. For you, it should matter right now. For this world proclaims all kinds of things that is against GOD. It is time to look up and get really serious about your faith for the sake of salvation, your salvation.

This is the best I can do right now, I will try my best to share more with you as time goes on.

May GOD have mercy on us all.

Shalom
