Note for 20250826 - Is 26v4 - Trust in the LORD

1. Opening

There are a few ways in which you can partake in the Daily Devotional:

We are to receive the Word of GOD by the Spirit, so I strongly urge you to pray before you receive the Devotional. Let Christ take the lead in your Spiritual Development.

As I kept the watch, even as I was called early this morning, the Spirit of my Lord called unto me, He said, "get you up, and come to Me?" So, I arose as if I had slept enough. As if, I have slept a full night. I said, "here I am, Lord. Speak, Your servant listens." He brought me to this verse, which was the verse of the day, as if it was written to me alone.

2. Scripture Text

Once again, we get the lead for today’s devotional note from the YouVersion Bible App’s Verse of the Day.

Isaiah 26:4 KJV

[4] Trust ye in the LORD for ever: for in the LORD JEHOVAH is everlasting strength:

3. Devotional Reflection

I said to the Lord, "I have read it," and He sent me to where I must read next. He showed me the lines, He brought them to my attention, and laid them out in an order. Then the Lord brought me back to this verse and said, “read more,” as He gave me this in highlight:

Isaiah 26:3-7 KJV

[3] Thou wilt keep him in perfect peace, whose mind is stayed on thee: because he trusteth in thee. [4] Trust ye in the LORD for ever: for in the LORD JEHOVAH is everlasting strength: [5] for he bringeth down them that dwell on high; the lofty city, he layeth it low; he layeth it low, even to the ground; he bringeth it even to the dust. [6] The foot shall tread it down, even the feet of the poor, and the steps of the needy. [7] The way of the just is uprightness: thou, most upright, dost weigh the path of the just.

https://bible.com/bible/1/isa.26.3-7.KJV

Weigh the path of the just? "How did I call you, Mattit'Yahu?" (That is the name the Lord speaks to me, when He calls me, even now as He gives me these words.) I answer, "Lord, You called me early in the morning, by Mispah first, and since then, as it pleases You, my Lord." The Lord says, "Watch Tower."

Who am I that Thou should regard me, my Lord, that Thou call me, a man, as one would call a friend? You call me at the bark of a dog, then, Lord, You say to me, "get yourself up and come to Me," You give me Words before I can understand them. You lay them out, by scripture, and knit them all together. The Lord says, "Go, to the first verses that I gave you now, but write this first:" I cannot remember what the first verses was that the Lord gave me, but I did set them aside as I was guided. (In myself, I wonder, what is the Lord doing?) He says, "Show them how I speak to you." (By the guidance of the Holy Spirit, here I am writing things, some of what I know, and some I have not heard until now. A new writing style, to try and weave sense into the Spiritual, that the "wise" of this world will surely mock.) Now the verses, as the Lord requested:

Isaiah 50:1-3 KJV

[1] Thus saith the LORD, Where is the bill of your mother's divorcement, whom I have put away? or which of my creditors is it to whom I have sold you? Behold, for your iniquities have ye sold yourselves, and for your transgressions is your mother put away. [2] Wherefore, when I came, was there no man? when I called, was there none to answer? Is my hand shortened at all, that it cannot redeem? or have I no power to deliver? behold, at my rebuke I dry up the sea, I make the rivers a wilderness: their fish stinketh, because there is no water, and dieth for thirst. [3] I clothe the heavens with blackness, and I make sackcloth their covering.

And the next, I am to give too:

Isaiah 50:10 KJV

[10] Who is among you that feareth the LORD, that obeyeth the voice of his servant, that walketh in darkness, and hath no light? let him trust in the name of the LORD, and stay upon his God.

https://bible.com/bible/1/isa.50.10.KJV

Who “stays upon his God,” Father? How does he “stay upon his God?” (These questions I write as instructed) "They that fear Me, who trust upon the Name of the Lord, even the Name that has been given to trust in, of whom I said, hear Him, to Moses and Elijah." (I perceive that the Lord is speaking of, on the mount of the transfiguration of Jesus Christ, even as He said it then.)

The Lord said, "This is My Son, in Whom I am well pleased. I speak to Him, even as He dwells in you."

Now I am to give you the next section of verses the Lord gave me to set aside.

Isaiah 50:4-5 KJV

[4] The Lord GOD hath given me the tongue of the learned, that I should know how to speak a word in season to him that is weary: he wakeneth morning by morning, he wakeneth mine ear to hear as the learned. [5] The Lord GOD hath opened mine ear, and I was not rebellious, neither turned away back.

I am humbled, Lord.

(In me, I feel unworthy to do what I am doing at this moment. I am just an ordinary man, un-learnered, what I have is of the Lord. The Lord said, I must show you. And I am feeling uncomfortable, because it is not of me, but in obedience I write here, I would prefer not to, though, not my will, but His. I shall not be ashamed of the Lord.)

Isaiah 51:5-8 KJV

[5] My righteousness is near; my salvation is gone forth, and mine arms shall judge the people; the isles shall wait upon me, and on mine arm shall they trust. [6] Lift up your eyes to the heavens, and look upon the earth beneath: for the heavens shall vanish away like smoke, and the earth shall wax old like a garment, and they that dwell therein shall die in like manner: but my salvation shall be for ever, and my righteousness shall not be abolished. [7] Hearken unto me, ye that know righteousness, the people in whose heart is my law; fear ye not the reproach of men, neither be ye afraid of their revilings. [8] For the moth shall eat them up like a garment, and the worm shall eat them like wool: but my righteousness shall be for ever, and my salvation from generation to generation.

Friends, the LORD redeemed us back unto Himself, by Jesus Christ. The LORD has poured out of His Spirit, in us, in the Name of Jesus Christ, Whom we know as the Comforter Jesus promised that the Father would send, as Jesus prayed Him to send.

Now this, and it is a question in me, I confess: “shall this that the LORD gave me, by the Words that Isaiah wrote, come to be in this time?” (And I need you to know friends, the Lord is aware of this conversation, not just here between me and the Spirit of GOD, but also, the conversation that is taking place with you, when these words find you. And yes, these things are made known to me, as the Lord has need for me to know, some accepting, some being critical. Yes, even if the one that said, "he thinks he is a prophet." I am just a servant, an imperfect man.) "That woke up and rose from his bed when I called him after just two and a half hours of sleep, at 02:30am" says the Lord.

Friends, I have a question for you. Me, personally; did you hear what the Lord gave in the last quote of scripture? Not by my words, but by the Words of Isaiah, that the Lord brought me to at an early hour?

(I am so hot now, at 4:08am, I had to take off my jacket. I write this here so it is available for you to know my experience, as the Lord called me to do.)

There is a judgment coming. Yes, even as it is written in Isaiah. I do not know where, it might be a city, it might be a country, but it is surely coming. It is as if I know it.

Father, if it is Your will, speak, I am listening.

Isaiah 51:14-16 KJV

[14] The captive exile hasteneth that he may be loosed, and that he should not die in the pit, nor that his bread should fail. [15] But I am the LORD thy God, that divided the sea, whose waves roared: The LORD of hosts is his name. [16] And I have put my words in thy mouth, and I have covered thee in the shadow of mine hand, that I may plant the heavens, and lay the foundations of the earth, and say unto Zion, Thou art my people.

https://bible.com/bible/1/isa.51.14-16.KJV

(The Lord just gave me more, which I will share with you now, after this here. I was also sent to collect my anointing oil. Thus is the way, my forehead anointed, my right ear, my temples, my right thumb; in that order. For those that know, yes, my right toe was not anointed, for I am not sent out yet, but to proclaim all I receive from where I am, standing in the duty that the Lord has called me to.)

From the verse of the day's chapter:

Isaiah 26:4-14 KJV

[4] Trust ye in the LORD for ever: for in the LORD JEHOVAH is everlasting strength: [5] for he bringeth down them that dwell on high; the lofty city, he layeth it low; he layeth it low, even to the ground; he bringeth it even to the dust. [6] The foot shall tread it down, even the feet of the poor, and the steps of the needy. [7] The way of the just is uprightness: thou, most upright, dost weigh the path of the just. [8] Yea, in the way of thy judgments, O LORD, have we waited for thee; the desire of our soul is to thy name, and to the remembrance of thee. [9] With my soul have I desired thee in the night; yea, with my spirit within me will I seek thee early: for when thy judgments are in the earth, the inhabitants of the world will learn righteousness. [10] Let favour be shewed to the wicked, yet will he not learn righteousness: in the land of uprightness will he deal unjustly, and will not behold the majesty of the LORD. [11]  LORD, when thy hand is lifted up, they will not see: but they shall see, and be ashamed for their envy at the people; yea, the fire of thine enemies shall devour them. [12] LORD, thou wilt ordain peace for us: for thou also hast wrought all our works in us. [13] O LORD our God, other lords beside thee have had dominion over us: but by thee only will we make mention of thy name. [14] They are dead, they shall not live; they are deceased, they shall not rise: therefore hast thou visited and destroyed them, and made all their memory to perish.

Now, friends, this morning is definitely more intense than what I have received in a while. Twice now the Lord has instructed me to anoint myself with oil in one week. (For those that may ask, the anointing oil was a gift, and it comes all the way from Israel.)

Now, for your (and my) comfort, the Lord also gave me this to include here:

Psalm 23:1-6 KJV

[1] The LORD is my shepherd; I shall not want. [2] He maketh me to lie down in green pastures: He leadeth me beside the still waters. [3] He restoreth my soul: He leadeth me in the paths of righteousness for his name's sake. [4] Yea, though I walk through the valley of the shadow of death, I will fear no evil: for thou art with me; Thy rod and thy staff they comfort me. [5] Thou preparest a table before me in the presence of mine enemies: Thou anointest my head with oil; my cup runneth over. [6] Surely goodness and mercy shall follow me all the days of my life: And I will dwell in the house of the LORD for ever.

4. Verse of the Day

From the YouVersion Bible App

Isaiah 26:4 KJV

Note on the Verse:

Verse was the basis of the Devotional, so it and its expansions are given above.

5. Optional Reading / Study Expansion

There is no additional specific reading for today

6. Closing Paragraph

This is a significant morning and so is the message. Wait on the Lord, I say; wait on the LORD. For those who have an ear to hear, let them hear what the Spirit is saying unto the angels of the churches.

(4:30am, and now I am going to lay before the Lord. Maybe, He will show me kindness, give me Word, or let me rest.)

Selah, Shalom.
