Mark 16:1-20 KJV
[1] And when the sabbath was past, Mary Magdalene, and Mary the mother of James, and Salome, had bought sweet spices, that they might come and anoint him. [2] And very early in the morning the first day of the week, they came unto the sepulchre at the rising of the sun. [3] And they said among themselves, Who shall roll us away the stone from the door of the sepulchre? [4] And when they looked, they saw that the stone was rolled away: for it was very great. [5] And entering into the sepulchre, they saw a young man sitting on the right side, clothed in a long white garment; and they were affrighted. [6] And he saith unto them, Be not affrighted: Ye seek Jesus of Nazareth, which was crucified: he is risen; he is not here: behold the place where they laid him. [7] But go your way, tell his disciples and Peter that he goeth before you into Galilee: there shall ye see him, as he said unto you. [8] And they went out quickly, and fled from the sepulchre; for they trembled and were amazed: neither said they any thing to any man; for they were afraid. [9] Now when Jesus was risen early the first day of the week, he appeared first to Mary Magdalene, out of whom he had cast seven devils. [10] And she went and told them that had been with him, as they mourned and wept. [11] And they, when they had heard that he was alive, and had been seen of her, believed not. [12] After that he appeared in another form unto two of them, as they walked, and went into the country. [13] And they went and told it unto the residue: neither believed they them. [14] Afterward he appeared unto the eleven as they sat at meat, and upbraided them with their unbelief and hardness of heart, because they believed not them which had seen him after he was risen. [15] And he said unto them, Go ye into all the world, and preach the gospel to every creature. [16] He that believeth and is baptized shall be saved; but he that believeth not shall be damned. [17] And these signs shall follow them that believe; In my name shall they cast out devils; they shall speak with new tongues; [18] they shall take up serpents; and if they drink any deadly thing, it shall not hurt them; they shall lay hands on the sick, and they shall recover. [19] So then after the Lord had spoken unto them, he was received up into heaven, and sat on the right hand of God. [20] And they went forth, and preached every where, the Lord working with them, and confirming the word with signs following. Amen.

Note for 20250204
Surely you have heard of the days after Jesus Christ has risen from the grave. I know, this account feels somewhat rushed and brief, but what we have here does broadly outline what we have in other accounts. Mark, however, does give us the mission of the Christian, to preach the Gospel to every creature, and that whosoever believes, the same shall be saved.
Please note what type of confirmations came for those who believe that the Lord worked with them and that signs followed them. In the Name of Jesus, they would cast out devils, speak in new tongues and heal those they lay their hands on. They would be protected against serpents and poisons.
This concludes our reading of the account of Mark, and next we will read the letters of Peter, who was most often with Christ and to Whom Jesus said, "Feed my sheep." It is my Great Hope that from our reading and contemplation on the account of Mark, that your faith has been strengthened in the Lord Jesus Christ, especially that you believe that what He has done, he did for you too. That you may agree with the words of Christ, that you make His words your own and believe that He is risen and at the right hand of GOD the Father on His Throne. That you believe His Words and shape your life according to His instruction. The old man must be laid down with Christ, and yes, you should be baptised, you should partake in Holy Communion and you must permit the Living Christ to wash you clean from sin. The Lord is with us, by His Holy Spirit, just as we learned from the account of John.
To each a measure of faith is given, and in Christ, that faith may grow, as the Lord works with us, when we perform those duties He gave us to do. Then shall the signs follow us, to confirm us. Remember the prayer Jesus taught us, and that according to Revelation 19:10 the testimony of Jesus Christ is the Spirit of Prophecy.
It is not given to all to write or make big speeches before many, but each of us preach a message by how we live. What we preach is only true when it conforms with the Truth of Jesus Christ. If you had to write your testimony, what would the declaration of your faith look like? While it might not be required of you to write it down, you should live according to your faith. Know this too, if there is any error in you still, the Lord will correct you. By The Holy Spirit will you be reminded of what Christ said, just as He said He would. Christ said, that He will never leave nor forsake you, which means, as we read here, that the Lord will work with you. Shall He work with you if your efforts are for your own kingdom instead of His? Shall He bring signs if hate remains in you? The answer is in you, I do not have to write it here.
What is your testimony of Jesus, you have just read Mark's? And now, I will ask you an alike question, though it is different; what is the testimony of Jesus in you? You see, the one is yours and the other is His, take His Testimony to every creature that you meet. Your testimony can edify your brothers and sisters in the Faith, but His Testimony will save them. Take the Gospel of Jesus Christ out into the world, so that hearing they might believe in Him that is alive, and He will save them for their faith in Him.
Selah, Shalom

Additional Scriptures
Deuteronomy 30:1-3 KJV
[1] And it shall come to pass, when all these things are come upon thee, the blessing and the curse, which I have set before thee, and thou shalt call them to mind among all the nations, whither the LORD thy God hath driven thee, [2] and shalt return unto the LORD thy God, and shalt obey his voice according to all that I command thee this day, thou and thy children, with all thine heart, and with all thy soul; [3] that then the LORD thy God will turn thy captivity, and have compassion upon thee, and will return and gather thee from all the nations, whither the LORD thy God hath scattered thee.

Deuteronomy 30:4-10 KJV
[4] If any of thine be driven out unto the outmost parts of heaven, from thence will the LORD thy God gather thee, and from thence will he fetch thee: [5] and the LORD thy God will bring thee into the land which thy fathers possessed, and thou shalt possess it; and he will do thee good, and multiply thee above thy fathers. [6] And the LORD thy God will circumcise thine heart, and the heart of thy seed, to love the LORD thy God with all thine heart, and with all thy soul, that thou mayest live. [7] And the LORD thy God will put all these curses upon thine enemies, and on them that hate thee, which persecuted thee. [8] And thou shalt return and obey the voice of the LORD, and do all his commandments which I command thee this day. [9] And the LORD thy God will make thee plenteous in every work of thine hand, in the fruit of thy body, and in the fruit of thy cattle, and in the fruit of thy land, for good: for the LORD will again rejoice over thee for good, as he rejoiced over thy fathers: [10] if thou shalt hearken unto the voice of the LORD thy God, to keep his commandments and his statutes which are written in this book of the law, and if thou turn unto the LORD thy God with all thine heart, and with all thy soul.

Deuteronomy 30:11-14 KJV
[11] For this commandment which I command thee this day, it is not hidden from thee, neither is it far off. [12] It is not in heaven, that thou shouldest say, Who shall go up for us to heaven, and bring it unto us, that we may hear it, and do it? [13] Neither is it beyond the sea, that thou shouldest say, Who shall go over the sea for us, and bring it unto us, that we may hear it, and do it? [14] But the word is very nigh unto thee, in thy mouth, and in thy heart, that thou mayest do it.

Deuteronomy 30:15-20 KJV
[15] See, I have set before thee this day life and good, and death and evil; [16] in that I command thee this day to love the LORD thy God, to walk in his ways, and to keep his commandments and his statutes and his judgments, that thou mayest live and multiply: and the LORD thy God shall bless thee in the land whither thou goest to possess it. [17] But if thine heart turn away, so that thou wilt not hear, but shalt be drawn away, and worship other gods, and serve them; [18] I denounce unto you this day, that ye shall surely perish, and that ye shall not prolong your days upon the land, whither thou passest over Jordan to go to possess it. [19] I call heaven and earth to record this day against you, that I have set before you life and death, blessing and cursing: therefore choose life, that both thou and thy seed may live: [20] that thou mayest love the LORD thy God, and that thou mayest obey his voice, and that thou mayest cleave unto him: for he is thy life, and the length of thy days: that thou mayest dwell in the land which the LORD sware unto thy fathers, to Abraham, to Isaac, and to Jacob, to give them.

Deuteronomy 31:29 KJV
[29] For I know that after my death ye will utterly corrupt yourselves, and turn aside from the way which I have commanded you; and evil will befall you in the latter days; because ye will do evil in the sight of the LORD, to provoke him to anger through the work of your hands.
