Revelation 14 KJV

[1] And I looked, and, lo, a Lamb stood on the mount Sion, and with him an hundred forty and four thousand, having his Father's name written in their foreheads. [2] And I heard a voice from heaven, as the voice of many waters, and as the voice of a great thunder: and I heard the voice of harpers harping with their harps: [3] and they sung as it were a new song before the throne, and before the four beasts, and the elders: and no man could learn that song but the hundred and forty and four thousand, which were redeemed from the earth. [4] These are they which were not defiled with women; for they are virgins. These are they which follow the Lamb whithersoever he goeth. These were redeemed from among men, being the firstfruits unto God and to the Lamb. [5] And in their mouth was found no guile: for they are without fault before the throne of God. [6] And I saw another angel fly in the midst of heaven, having the everlasting gospel to preach unto them that dwell on the earth, and to every nation, and kindred, and tongue, and people, [7] saying with a loud voice, Fear God, and give glory to him; for the hour of his judgment is come: and worship him that made heaven, and earth, and the sea, and the fountains of waters. [8] And there followed another angel, saying, Babylon is fallen, is fallen, that great city, because she made all nations drink of the wine of the wrath of her fornication. [9] And the third angel followed them, saying with a loud voice, If any man worship the beast and his image, and receive his mark in his forehead, or in his hand, [10] the same shall drink of the wine of the wrath of God, which is poured out without mixture into the cup of his indignation; and he shall be tormented with fire and brimstone in the presence of the holy angels, and in the presence of the Lamb: [11] and the smoke of their torment ascendeth up for ever and ever: and they have no rest day nor night, who worship the beast and his image, and whosoever receiveth the mark of his name. [12] Here is the patience of the saints: here are they that keep the commandments of God, and the faith of Jesus. [13] And I heard a voice from heaven saying unto me, Write, Blessed are the dead which die in the Lord from henceforth: Yea, saith the Spirit, that they may rest from their labours; and their works do follow them. [14] And I looked, and behold a white cloud, and upon the cloud one sat like unto the Son of man, having on his head a golden crown, and in his hand a sharp sickle. [15] And another angel came out of the temple, crying with a loud voice to him that sat on the cloud, Thrust in thy sickle, and reap: for the time is come for thee to reap; for the harvest of the earth is ripe. [16] And he that sat on the cloud thrust in his sickle on the earth; and the earth was reaped. [17] And another angel came out of the temple which is in heaven, he also having a sharp sickle. [18] And another angel came out from the altar, which had power over fire; and cried with a loud cry to him that had the sharp sickle, saying, Thrust in thy sharp sickle, and gather the clusters of the vine of the earth; for her grapes are fully ripe. [19] And the angel thrust in his sickle into the earth, and gathered the vine of the earth, and cast it into the great winepress of the wrath of God. [20] And the winepress was trodden without the city, and blood came out of the winepress, even unto the horse bridles, by the space of a thousand and six hundred furlongs.

Let us do a wellness check. How is it with your soul? What is the response in you, having read this?

Matthew 13

"24 Another parable put he forth unto them, saying, The kingdom of heaven is likened unto a man which sowed good seed in his field:

25 But while men slept, his enemy came and sowed tares among the wheat, and went his way.

26 But when the blade was sprung up, and brought forth fruit, then appeared the tares also.

27 So the servants of the householder came and said unto him, Sir, didst not thou sow good seed in thy field? from whence then hath it tares?

28 He said unto them, An enemy hath done this. The servants said unto him, Wilt thou then that we go and gather them up?

29 But he said, Nay; lest while ye gather up the tares, ye root up also the wheat with them.

30 Let both grow together until the harvest: and in the time of harvest I will say to the reapers, Gather ye together first the tares, and bind them in bundles to burn them: but gather the wheat into my barn."

The disciples of Christ had questions about this parable. Let's read...

" 36 Then Jesus sent the multitude away, and went into the house: and his disciples came unto him, saying, Declare unto us the parable of the tares of the field.

37 He answered and said unto them, He that soweth the good seed is the Son of man;

38 The field is the world; the good seed are the children of the kingdom; but the tares are the children of the wicked one;

39 The enemy that sowed them is the devil; the harvest is the end of the world; and the reapers are the angels.

40 As therefore the tares are gathered and burned in the fire; so shall it be in the end of this world.

41 The Son of man shall send forth his angels, and they shall gather out of his kingdom all things that offend, and them which do iniquity;

42 And shall cast them into a furnace of fire: there shall be wailing and gnashing of teeth.

43 Then shall the righteous shine forth as the sun in the kingdom of their Father. Who hath ears to hear, let him hear."

Let us do a wellness check again. Is it well with your soul?

Who shall take the mark of the beast? Who is sealed by God? Are the wheat and tares the same at harvest time? Is it now such a time, the end that Christ spoke of? What is the difference between the wheat and the tares? What is it that offends and those who do iniquity in the Kingdom of the Son of man? Is it not removed, according to Christ, so the righteous may shine forth as the Sun in the Kingdom of their Father?

Indeed, it does seem like there are more questions to answer then, right? How often now have I asked you, "do you believe?" You see, the wheat and tares in a field looks much the same, but wheat brings forth good fruit. "By their fruit shall you know them," did Christ not also say that? "And they repented not..." is that not also written in the Book of Revelation? Who is who then, and what did Christ say here in Matthew 13 as it is quoted here.

Now, and this takes us to the very beginning again...

Genesis 3:15

"And I will put enmity between thee and the woman, and between thy seed and her seed; it shall bruise thy head, and thou shalt bruise his heel."

Who is the wheat again and who are the tares? What are their fruits? Who is it that will not repent of their iniquities? Who admits their guilt, repents and receives, by grace, forgiveness in Jesus Christ? Who are the children of GOD? Can you remember how many were standing before the throne of GOD in Heaven, and from who does these 144 000, that is with the Lamb here, come from? Yes 12 000 virgins from each of the mentioned tribes of Israel. (Revelation 7)

What did we read in Malachi 4, who is burned to a stubble and under the feet of the righteous?

Do you remember John 3:15 yet? What about Matthew 5, who is blessed? What of John 1, who is the Word of GOD? By Whose Name are you called? Therein is your identity in Christ our Lord, and the fruit of the Spirit is of Christ, for He is the Word of GOD, by whom the Word of GOD is made manifest in us. The children of the enemy (in the parable) their fruit is iniquity and they bring all offenses before the Lord and they repent not of their iniquity. Yes, indeed, they cannot admit their guilt, they cannot repent, because they think they do no wrong. They cannot say, "I am a sinner" and Christ died on that cross for sinners like you and me. The blood of Christ stands for us, for He took our sin upon Him and paid all our debt. Our righteousness is in Christ, for The Love of the Father and the Sacrifice of His Son covers a multitude of sin. Christ will present to Himself a bride without blemish or wrinkle. He will do it, we are the saved.

Revelation tells us what happens to both the righteous and the wicked, and so too did Christ in His ministry here on earth. It is recorded in the Word of GOD. Do you believe in the Son of GOD? Do you believe in the Word of GOD?

What is the fear of GOD? Because the wicked give no regard to the Word of GOD. They do not repent, neither are they fearful of the coming judgment, because they do not believe in the Word of GOD, so they do not believe it is coming. They justify themselves, they excuse their behaviors. They fight matters out in the courts of man with lawyers and deny the court of GOD.

The children of GOD admit their sin and repent of it. They believe in the Son of GOD and therefore have the Blood of the Lamb of GOD that is the payment for our sin in our humble admission of guilt. Our identity is in Christ, for our faith in Him, not just a check mark on a form that questions religion.

Yes, I can go on and on, but remember who you are in Christ, the coming judge. The King of kings and Lord of lords. For the kingdoms of this world will become His.

Shalom

Verse of The Day

(YouVersion - Expanded to entire Chapter)

James 5:1-20 KJV

[1] Go to now, ye rich men, weep and howl for your miseries that shall come upon you. [2] Your riches are corrupted, and your garments are motheaten. [3] Your gold and silver is cankered; and the rust of them shall be a witness against you, and shall eat your flesh as it were fire. Ye have heaped treasure together for the last days. [4] Behold, the hire of the labourers who have reaped down your fields, which is of you kept back by fraud, crieth: and the cries of them which have reaped are entered into the ears of the Lord of sabaoth. [5] Ye have lived in pleasure on the earth, and been wanton; ye have nourished your hearts, as in a day of slaughter. [6] Ye have condemned and killed the just; and he doth not resist you. [7] Be patient therefore, brethren, unto the coming of the Lord. Behold, the husbandman waiteth for the precious fruit of the earth, and hath long patience for it, until he receive the early and latter rain. [8] Be ye also patient; stablish your hearts: for the coming of the Lord draweth nigh. [9] Grudge not one against another, brethren, lest ye be condemned: behold, the judge standeth before the door. [10] Take, my brethren, the prophets, who have spoken in the name of the Lord, for an example of suffering affliction, and of patience. [11] Behold, we count them happy which endure. Ye have heard of the patience of Job, and have seen the end of the Lord; that the Lord is very pitiful, and of tender mercy. [12] But above all things, my brethren, swear not, neither by heaven, neither by the earth, neither by any other oath: but let your yea be yea; and your nay, nay; lest ye fall into condemnation. [13] Is any among you afflicted? let him pray. Is any merry? let him sing psalms. [14] Is any sick among you? let him call for the elders of the church; and let them pray over him, anointing him with oil in the name of the Lord: [15] and the prayer of faith shall save the sick, and the Lord shall raise him up; and if he have committed sins, they shall be forgiven him. [16] Confess your faults one to another, and pray one for another, that ye may be healed. The effectual fervent prayer of a righteous man availeth much. [17] Elias was a man subject to like passions as we are, and he prayed earnestly that it might not rain: and it rained not on the earth by the space of three years and six months. [18] And he prayed again, and the heaven gave rain, and the earth brought forth her fruit. [19] Brethren, if any of you do err from the truth, and one convert him; [20] let him know, that he which converteth the sinner from the error of his way shall save a soul from death, and shall hide a multitude of sins.
