[1] And there was given me a reed like unto a rod: and the angel stood, saying, Rise, and measure the temple of God, and the altar, and them that worship therein. [2] But the court which is without the temple leave out, and measure it not; for it is given unto the Gentiles: and the holy city shall they tread under foot forty and two months. [3] And I will give power unto my two witnesses, and they shall prophesy a thousand two hundred and threescore days, clothed in sackcloth. [4] These are the two olive trees, and the two candlesticks standing before the God of the earth. [5] And if any man will hurt them, fire proceedeth out of their mouth, and devoureth their enemies: and if any man will hurt them, he must in this manner be killed. [6] These have power to shut heaven, that it rain not in the days of their prophecy: and have power over waters to turn them to blood, and to smite the earth with all plagues, as often as they will. [7] And when they shall have finished their testimony, the beast that ascendeth out of the bottomless pit shall make war against them, and shall overcome them, and kill them. [8] And their dead bodies shall lie in the street of the great city, which spiritually is called Sodom and Egypt, where also our Lord was crucified. [9] And they of the people and kindreds and tongues and nations shall see their dead bodies three days and an half, and shall not suffer their dead bodies to be put in graves. [10] And they that dwell upon the earth shall rejoice over them, and make merry, and shall send gifts one to another; because these two prophets tormented them that dwelt on the earth. [11] And after three days and an half the spirit of life from God entered into them, and they stood upon their feet; and great fear fell upon them which saw them. [12] And they heard a great voice from heaven saying unto them, Come up hither. And they ascended up to heaven in a cloud; and their enemies beheld them. [13] And the same hour was there a great earthquake, and the tenth part of the city fell, and in the earthquake were slain of men seven thousand: and the remnant were affrighted, and gave glory to the God of heaven. [14] The second woe is past; and, behold, the third woe cometh quickly.  [15] And the seventh angel sounded; and there were great voices in heaven, saying, The kingdoms of this world are become the kingdoms of our Lord, and of his Christ; and he shall reign for ever and ever. [16] And the four and twenty elders, which sat before God on their seats, fell upon their faces, and worshipped God, [17] saying, We give thee thanks, O Lord God Almighty, which art, and wast, and art to come; because thou hast taken to thee thy great power, and hast reigned. [18] And the nations were angry, and thy wrath is come, and the time of the dead, that they should be judged, and that thou shouldest give reward unto thy servants the prophets, and to the saints, and them that fear thy name, small and great; and shouldest destroy them which destroy the earth. [19] And the temple of God was opened in heaven, and there was seen in his temple the ark of his testament: and there were lightnings, and voices, and thunderings, and an earthquake, and great hail.

Note for 20240909

The 6th trumpet continues on until here in verse 14. Now, today we get to a section that has been preached on, especially about these two prophets of the GOD of the Earth, these two olive trees and two candlesticks that stand before Him.

Personally, I have a strong leaning to say this is the testimony of the wild and cultivated olive trees we have read about in Paul's writings. But what then of the candle sticks? We'll, the 7 candlesticks of the nation of GOD stood in the Holy of Holies of the Tabernacle and the Temple of GOD in Jerusalem, but do you remember the 7 candlesticks that was spoken of by Christ in Revelation 1, how it stood before the Throne of GOD, and how Christ moved among the candlesticks and had the 7 stars in His right hand? But, it is also important that I make note, that at this point we do not truly need to know who they are, these two prophets, because if we are to see and know them, it will be revealed.

Some say, it is Moses and Elijah, for those two met with Christ on His transfiguration on Mount Hermon. Others say, it is Enoch and Elijah for they were taken up into heaven and did not die as all other men did. Then still there is this, that John here in the previous chapter was given the small book and told that he will have to testify again. Then, Elijah might be the one for the Old Testament and John for the New.

Yet, we know that Christ said that Elijah has come in John the Baptist. The prophecy for that we can also find in Malachi 4. What I am attempting to show you here, is that we cannot claim to surely know, but when it comes to pass, it will be clear. All this, still just about the 6th Trumpet, and second woe. This will speak too, to how we believe about the rapture, but if we do believe as it is written that the church is not stored up for the Wrath of GOD as it is written, then most agree, that at this point the church is no longer on the earth. If it be so, and I believe so, then, it means that only the 144 000 of Israel and these two prophets remain which have the seal of GOD in their foreheads. But, since I am not all seeing myself, I cannot claim to know. We each have that which the Lord has given us and His Grace is sufficient for us.

Now, this morning I was brought to rise up two hours earlier than I usually do. So, in a way, I had a good sense that today might be a lengthy note. And as I write, I am always concerned about the volume of information that is passed along. At first, I was inclined to only highlight up to verse 14, but I was nudged by the Spirit to highlight all of this chapter.

Yesterday, I wrote that the time has come to reveal more. And it started out with an admission that in myself I do not know that much. You might think that I am ready to move on to the 7th Trumpet, but no; there is another matter here to show. Who of you have been seeing 11:11 everywhere? For years that was the case for me too, and with it, there was this lingering question that came from the Spirit of our Lord, "Can two things be at once?" Now, of those that do see 11:11 everywhere as I did, have the common belief that it points to Revelation 11:11 and so did I, for the longest time. Until, one morning when the Lord took me to Isaiah 11:11.

And it shall come to pass in that day, that the Lord shall set his hand again the second time to recover the remnant of his people, which shall be left, from Assyria, and from Egypt, and from Pathros, and from Cush, and from Elam, and from Shinar, and from Hamath, and from the islands of the sea.

Can two things be at once? Now I am nudged to share that ever since this time, no longer do the question come up in the Spirit and I am wondering about the answer, nor is it common anymore for me to see 11:11. You see, you might look at the saving of Israel from Egypt and Babylon as these two occasions when the Lord set His Hand to recover a remnant, but remember, from Egypt, He delivered all out of their hand, not a remnant, even though just a remnant made it to the promised land, but that was because of their own wickedness. From Egypt, He delivered all. So, then we have to date only one account. That means, there is one account left, which appears to come here towards the end of Satan's rule upon the earth. Here, before verse 15, is where I was led to bring it in. A remnant will be delivered, and according to the Word of GOD, for His Own Name sake and then also for the promise that He made to Abraham. Now this is a weighty subject.

Remember when Paul was speaking on the two olive trees, how the wild olive branch is grafted into the cultivated olive tree? He gave a warning, not to think that GOD will pluck out a branch from the cultivated tree and spare the wild olive branch. He is able to graft in the plucked out branch back, as much as he grafted in the wild branch. This really is a huge study, but if you know the Word of GOD, grasping it can set in in just one moment. This speaks against the false teaching called replacement theology. God is not done with Israel, and the book of Revelation makes it clear, especially also considering the 144 000, that is even set apart unto this point in Revelation. Now, there is more that can be said, there is more to know, and if it be the Will of GOD, I will enter more in on the blog for those that need to know. It will answer the questions you might have regarding a second Exodus, which indeed have started, but is not complete yet. And where it exactly fits in, that I do not know, yet it must be significant that I am led to write on it here at this point of our reading today. It is hard to make sense of the blood drenched cloak of Christ, unless you can see this too. And I am overwhelmed by how little we actually know. For those who may feel a little confused at this time, this is not necessary for all to know. It is our Lord Jesus Christ that will save us, not our knowledge. John 3:16 is still the authoritative text on Salvation.

Now, while we have looked at these two witnesses, and also now included in, about the 11:11 matter, we should not forget about the outside court and the city being trodden under foot for 42 months. Nor should we ignore that when the two witnesses are called up into heaven that a great earthquake will take a tenth part of the city and of men in the city, 7000 are slain.

February 20th, 2023 a 6.5 magnitude earthquake struck on the border of Turkey and Syria. Over 55 000 people died, nearly 130 000 people were injured and the disaster impacted over 15 million people. Who remembers that? Did you know that it is on the northern part of the same faultline that runs through the Kidron valley on the eastern side of Temple mount in Jerusalem? I state this, to remind you of the time and season we are living in. So don't forget while you are being distracted by mainstream news on the latest on the elections or the outcome of some game that was played on Sunday. 

Let me take it one step further, permit me a share of your time, more than usual. Let me show you something else. There has never been before an assault on Israel militarily as it has been the case since the invasion of Hamas on that dreadful Sabbath day of October 7th. And still this war is escalating. And the enemy shouts death to Israel and death to America. What has the rise of the people been for all over the world? Which flags did they put on display in their protests? What are the movements in Europe and even in America? Yes, even in my own country of South Africa there were divisions on the streets. Now, let's look at symbols again. Would you say there is a resemblance of the Wild Olive Tree in America, and who is Israel then?

Friends, this world is already in uproar against just a mere symbol of what we read of here in Revelation 11. How much more sleep, how much more slumber is needed? Know this too, I am being brief. This here is but a glance at things. 

Now, let us look at the 7th trumpet being sound, and we might say, the last trump. Notice in the text, thundering was heard by John. It is at this point that something very significant is heard from Heaven, "The kingdoms of this world are become the kingdoms of our Lord, and of his Christ; and he shall reign for ever and ever." (from verse 15)

Let's look at verse 18 too, "And the nations were angry, and thy wrath is come, and the time of the dead, that they should be judged, and that thou shouldest give reward unto thy servants the prophets, and to the saints, and them that fear thy name, small and great; and shouldest destroy them which destroy the earth."

Can you see a state of lawlessness setting in, or shall we say that the law itself is becoming lawless? This world is making itself ready for the judgment of GOD, and they stand in rebellion and move by a spirit that is against Christ and our Father in Heaven. How long do you think the Lord will restrain Himself? Friends, please note, I am not pointing to Matthew 24 anymore. No! I am looking up, for our redemption draws nearer and nearer still, even as every missile or suicide drone is launched against the cultivated olive tree, and threats are shouted out against the wild olive tree. How I pray, my country's government was not standing in league with the Ezekiel 38 nations. The government does its own thing while the people are thrown deep into a struggle to put food on the table. May GOD have mercy on us, may he forgive our ignorance. For if God does not help us, the people of my land may stand on the wrong side of that battle line.

I will end here with the note today, though I would rather keep your attention on this. I hope you can see that while this note may have seemed long today, it is still falling short of all that can be said, even of what is needed to be said. May the LORD bring to your awareness all that is needful for you to know, each of you in your own corner of this world as the church is still locationaly scattered on every mountain of this earth. In it but not of it. No! We stand in league with Him who comes to judge a wicked world.

In that is our Shalom, our King is coming. Let Thy Kingdom come and Thy Will be done, in the earth as it is in Heaven. Come Lord Jesus, come. Hosanna in the Highest.

Note on Isaiah 11:11 and Ezra 3: 12-13

In reading on this Sabbath, Ezra 1-3. Hear the Word. 

This here, is the first time the LORD brought back a remnant of Israel to the land. Before, it was all of Israel; when GOD brought them out of Egypt. Why is this important? Isaiah 11:11. 

In Ezra 1 we read that Cyrus made the decree so the words by Jeremiah the prophet may be true. Pay attention, GOD did it, GOD put it in Cyrus’ heart. 

What then is the second that Isaiah speaks of in the prophecy? We must also think and apply our minds in line with the reverence of GOD Almighty. 

Right now, there is a war in Israel. Right now, here in October of 2023 according to our calendar. Who then is in the land that GOD promised to the descendants of Jacob?

I have a childhood friend, a sister in the faith, here from South Africa; that has worked for more than 30 years to bring the Jews back to Israel. They call it Aaliyah. Now there is much to say on the matters of these days. I think of my friend as I see a nation at war once more with those around and among them. 

Friends, these are old disputes; many wars have been fought among these people for thousands of years. The children of Israel, the children of Esau, Moab and Amon. We also see the children of Ishmael around and what still of the remnant of the Canaanites? What of the Philistines, Lebanon and even those Jebusites that once occupied Jerusalem? Here is the irrevocable truth! Jerusalem is only promised to one group of people according to the scriptures and that is Israel, more specifically Judah and furthermore the House of David. They have no king today, because their King is risen to the Right Hand of GOD Almighty. He will return when they call upon Him and say, “Blessed is He that comes in the Name of GOD.”

Now, recently, I have seen the peoples of the world vote by public display of affiliation; one for Palestine and one for Israel. I vote for GOD’S will to be done as I say in my daily prayers. The world may be left astonished as nations in the Middle-East fight their wars as they did back in former times. GOD is in control and permits some things and prevents others. Some will love the Lord and some will hate Him; the prophecies are clear. Man’s rules of engagement only counts for man; GOD will see His will being done. 

Now, I have even heard some of my fellow Christians raise their opinions on these matters, much like I am now, with restraint. Remember who is the Avenger and Whose Wrath is scorned in Heaven. I urge you politely, pray to GOD for His will. Do not force your judgment and opinion before the Throne of GOD Almighty. Are these matters playing out today not prophesied too? People don’t know because they neglect the Word of GOD. Who did Jesus say must flee from Judea? I am telling you, don’t flap your mouth, pray to GOD instead. Let Him lead you in His way. 

Are there those in Israel that say they are Israelites, but are not from the House of Jacob? Yes. And Ezra 9 will make the matter clear. So yes, there is the matter of the synagogue of Satan; look, even the Jews are divided about the action on the Palestinians. We argue, because we do not truly trust in GOD to determine the outcome of the matter. Why do I say we? I trust GOD for the life of every living being. Do GOD need man to defend Him? Does He not have charge of the Host of The Heavens?

How many will read here? Only those who GOD send here. So too, is the matter of a falling tree, the strike of lightning or a stone from heaven. Pray! Stand in faith. Let GOD determine who lives and dies. Pray, repent; even if you live afar off from Jerusalem. Don’t side with evil, with demonic behavior. Hold on to the instruction of GOD and even your enemies will favor you. Have you not read the Word of GOD?

GOD woke me this morning, just after 3am. Here I am, writing according to the Spirit that indwells me. Do not forget Who you follow. Do not forget who is GOD and who is man. 

I weep too! I weep for the loss of life. I weep for those who were too stubborn to repent. I weep about their choices. Have you not read that the lake of fire was not prepared for man. But man sided with GOD’S enemies. Man voted himself to go into that punishment, even rejecting the Salvation Plan of GOD in Jesus Christ. I weep! But, I also know that when the flesh lays down, man's soul is left off, to gather to the place it belongs to. 

Right here and now, as this war intensifies; what does the Spirit in you urge you to do? Have you had a quiet moment to hear from GOD, or are you listing off demands before GOD’S Throne? Be careful who you side with. Stand in Christ. Lift up your head for our redemption draws near. Where is the grip of death then? If I live, I live for Christ; if I lay down, I sleep in Christ. How, then, can I suffer any loss? But man is looking to man to solve his problems and claim a faith they do not fathom. With whom, then, do you stand, man or GOD? Who do you trust? Now the matter is real, what then is your choice this day? Think. 

Do not argue with me, do not curse in your head; because nothing is hidden from the Living GOD. Pray and repent. Pray for GOD’S Will and carry on with the duties that He gave you. 

Remember the Salvation you have in Christ and trust in GOD’S arrangement of things. Accept His Judgment, receive His instruction and permit Him to correct you as you breath along.

[1] Now when these things were done, the princes came to me, saying, The people of Israel, and the priests, and the Levites, have not separated themselves from the people of the lands, doing according to their abominations, even of the Canaanites, the Hittites, the Perizzites, the Jebusites, the Ammonites, the Moabites, the Egyptians, and the Amorites. [2] For they have taken of their daughters for themselves, and for their sons: so that the holy seed have mingled themselves with the people of those lands: yea, the hand of the princes and rulers hath been chief in this trespass. [3] And when I heard this thing, I rent my garment and my mantle, and plucked off the hair of my head and of my beard, and sat down astonied. [4] Then were assembled unto me every one that trembled at the words of the God of Israel, because of the transgression of those that had been carried away; and I sat astonied until the evening sacrifice. Note on Ezra 9:1-15

Today’s reading, Ezra 7-9. From Ezra 7, for this purpose, note that Ezra was a priest of the line of Aaron.  Ezra 7 and 8 of decrees and numbers and the journey back to Jerusalem. Names to distinguish who came with at the time of Ezra as He came to lift up the House of GOD. 

Now, in past notes I have often referred to Ezra 9. Here you can read what Ezra says about these abominable inter-marriages. Now, you read what a priest of the line of Aaron says on the matter. The subject of these transgressions requires a deeper understanding of who these nations of Canaan were. They were mingled seed, essentially hybrids between the fallen ones and their offspring the Nephilim with the sons and daughters of mankind. Here the practice was undertaken even by the priests and Levites, those assigned to Temple service. This mingled seed was the reason that the inhabitants of Canaan were so utterly destroyed by GOD’S people, even King David, the beloved of GOD. This here is not just brought to understanding by a reading of Ezra 9, no! The history must be understood. Remember Og of Bashan, the children of Anak, even Goliath the Giant and his 4 brothers. These were not pure human seed from Adam, no! The seed was mingled and here Ezra says it, that the holy seed was mingled. This cannot be grasped without understanding Genesis 6 or even Genesis 3:15. Ezra understands the implications and therefore he rents his clothes and plucks out the hair of his head and beard. This is among the Temple servants and priests. If it is in these, what still of the rest of Israel? I am not speaking against Israel, I am speaking out of those among Israel that are not of Israel, but abominations before the LORD by HIS decree. 

If this is the state even just at that time (but children will eventually have children and become even as nations) what still of those outside of Israel? How mingled is the seed of mankind then today? Who is in charge of nations and institutions? Who are those put forth as leaders over mankind? Wheat and weeds, we know not who is who; that is how mingled the seed has become. Now we stand in full ignorance of facts with enemy seed among us. As the days of Noah, Christ said it will be at the end. Who then is still pure in their generations?

This Israel brought on Israel. This is what muddied holy water. This brought the tongue of the enemy to stand even as Pharisees, Scribes and Rabbis. We only know of this for Israel, because it is recorded. What of the gentiles then, the Goyim as the Hebrew calls us? 

I will put the matter into a bit of a spotlight now in hope that the iniquity may be understood better. Why is it such a big deal? GOD created man, breathed into his nostrils and he became a living soul. Man, created in GOD’S image, not in his own. The sons of GOD in heaven were created into purpose in their own image. They were not made as man to go forth and multiply, since they were immortal. Christ explained this about the Angels not giving or being given in marriage. 

After the fall of man, in Genesis 3:15; GOD puts the seed of man and the seed of the serpent at odds with each other. And there He proclaims the coming of Our Lord and Savior, Jesus Christ. He establishes a Salvation plan for mankind, not for the serpent. And who then would be the seed of the serpent? Where are they? This is a huge matter. 

If man then comes to the end of his life here, his soul carries on and must appear before GOD. In Salvation return to GOD (it is the best I can explain it now in short form.)

There is no salvation plan for the seed of the fallen of heaven. The Savior came for mankind. So what then of the mingled, the abominable? What happens to their spirit when their flesh ends? There are full studies, just on this topic. Let me put it like this: you cannot understand Revelations if you don’t understand Genesis. You cannot understand why GOD comes with flaming fire against the world in the end, if you don’t understand why He destroyed the Earth by water in the time of Noah. 

If you don’t understand this, you won’t understand Ephesians 6. You won’t believe that Christ drove out demons, neither will you believe they exist. If you question the existence of demons, will you believe that Satan exists? And if the adversary of GOD and man is nothing, what then would Salvation be to you? The devil tempted our Lord Jesus Christ. The Word we have today, is also an outcome of what happened in Eden. Yes, that is still at play, today. As man we are doomed to destruction for a life in rebellion to GOD. Satan is assured to be cast into the lake of fire in the end, there is no hope for him. So too those that stand with him. But, the lake of fire was never meant for man, man elected himself for it. No, GOD so loved the world that He sent His only begotten Son to Redeem us back for GOD. That is why there is only One Way to Salvation, because it is the Hand of GOD that draws us out of the waters of this world, as shown when Christ pulled Peter from sinking into the sea. 

I have given a lot of information here today. And the reference for it is the whole Bible. Ezra 9 is pivotal to understand, to understand what is happening in Israel today. Not all in Jerusalem are the sons of Jacob.
