Revelation 9 KJV

[1] And the fifth angel sounded, and I saw a star fall from heaven unto the earth: and to him was given the key of the bottomless pit. [2] And he opened the bottomless pit; and there arose a smoke out of the pit, as the smoke of a great furnace; and the sun and the air were darkened by reason of the smoke of the pit. [3] And there came out of the smoke locusts upon the earth: and unto them was given power, as the scorpions of the earth have power. [4] And it was commanded them that they should not hurt the grass of the earth, neither any green thing, neither any tree; but only those men which have not the seal of God in their foreheads. [5] And to them it was given that they should not kill them, but that they should be tormented five months: and their torment was as the torment of a scorpion, when he striketh a man. [6] And in those days shall men seek death, and shall not find it; and shall desire to die, and death shall flee from them. [7] And the shapes of the locusts were like unto horses prepared unto battle; and on their heads were as it were crowns like gold, and their faces were as the faces of men. [8] And they had hair as the hair of women, and their teeth were as the teeth of lions. [9] And they had breastplates, as it were breastplates of iron; and the sound of their wings was as the sound of chariots of many horses running to battle. [10] And they had tails like unto scorpions, and there were stings in their tails: and their power was to hurt men five months. [11] And they had a king over them, which is the angel of the bottomless pit, whose name in the Hebrew tongue is Abaddon, but in the Greek tongue hath his name Apollyon. [12] One woe is past; and, behold, there come two woes more hereafter. [13] And the sixth angel sounded, and I heard a voice from the four horns of the golden altar which is before God, [14] saying to the sixth angel which had the trumpet, Loose the four angels which are bound in the great river Euphrates. [15] And the four angels were loosed, which were prepared for an hour, and a day, and a month, and a year, for to slay the third part of men. [16] And the number of the army of the horsemen were two hundred thousand thousand: and I heard the number of them. [17] And thus I saw the horses in the vision, and them that sat on them, having breastplates of fire, and of jacinth, and brimstone: and the heads of the horses were as the heads of lions; and out of their mouths issued fire and smoke and brimstone. [18] By these three was the third part of men killed, by the fire, and by the smoke, and by the brimstone, which issued out of their mouths. [19] For their power is in their mouth, and in their tails: for their tails were like unto serpents, and had heads, and with them they do hurt. [20] And the rest of the men which were not killed by these plagues yet repented not of the works of their hands, that they should not worship devils, and idols of gold, and silver, and brass, and stone, and of wood: which neither can see, nor hear, nor walk: [21] neither repented they of their murders, nor of their sorceries, nor of their fornication, nor of their thefts.

Let me give you the good news first, these things that come out of the bottomless pit, they have no power against those marked with the seal of GOD.

I am not going to guess what or who they are, I am not going to break down their design, nor speak of their powers. No. Instead, I am going to ask you, why would you want to be on earth at this time? Men will seek death out, but will not die. Who is it then that is left behind on earth, who is not on that sea of glass before GOD'S Throne? Do you remember? The 144 000, yes; and those who did not believe in Him who lived forever on the Throne and His Lamb.

Let us then make a breakaway moment here. If this has to be this day, who will it include and who will it exclude? Do you see the movements on the war fronts, even the forefront fought in psychological, technological, political, financial and religious sectors? What about the information war? And the law? The enemy is a master manipulator, he knows how to twist and turn things in his favor in the minds of mankind. Do you remember the question I asked at the start of this paragraph? Who will be left vulnerable when these things come out of the earth, who is here?

Friends, this book was left for us so we may know what is coming, and it will come, no argument. What is your risk taking profile? Will you gamble with your life and your soul? Look, at the end of the chapter... Those who were not killed by these plagues, still would not repent.

There is something interesting about the Word of GOD. You see, if the Word mentions that they did not repent, it means also that they could if they chose to. Their refusal is based on an option that was available to them, and why is it so strange to consider; is that not the same on this very day, even more so?

This is where the focus comes in on what you and I believe in this day. Because if we are hard headed today, we will most likely be hard headed then, still finding all excuses and justifications for ourselves even then. Can you admit your error today, can you repent now? Of what? How about we start with believing what is written in the Word of GOD? Will God judge the world just as it is written here? Do you remember what the first few words in this Book were? Where does this Revelation come from? What is it to keep the Words of this prophecy? Do you believe; even in this? And here is where it gets dangerous friends; or do you believe that John got it wrong, and GOD will not do it as it is written down here. Tell me: where does the falling star come from that has the keys to the bottomless pit? Is it not released by the sounding of a trumpet given to one of those seven angels before GOD'S Throne? How long has GOD been warning mankind of this ultimate end? How many times have you read about the Day of The LORD? Who listened? And who said, oh it is believers crying wolf? Do you believe in Jesus Christ, then believe in what He said.

The Gospel of Jesus Christ is about the Salvation that He has made available for us, to escape the wrath of GOD, when He comes to judge the world. So yes, it is about escape. And that escape is available for all who come to belief in Christ and what He said. It is not going to be our way, it must be His Way. What did He instruct, and did we listen?

Right now, there is still hope, don't you know it? Not your version of faith, but His. Not your excuses and justifications, but His. Understand yet?
