Revelation 8 KJV

[1] And when he had opened the seventh seal, there was silence in heaven about the space of half an hour. [2] And I saw the seven angels which stood before God; and to them were given seven trumpets. [3] And another angel came and stood at the altar, having a golden censer; and there was given unto him much incense, that he should offer it with the prayers of all saints upon the golden altar which was before the throne. [4] And the smoke of the incense, which came with the prayers of the saints, ascended up before God out of the angel's hand. [5] And the angel took the censer, and filled it with fire of the altar, and cast it into the earth: and there were voices, and thunderings, and lightnings, and an earthquake. [6] And the seven angels which had the seven trumpets prepared themselves to sound. [7] The first angel sounded, and there followed hail and fire mingled with blood, and they were cast upon the earth: and the third part of trees was burnt up, and all green grass was burnt up. [8] And the second angel sounded, and as it were a great mountain burning with fire was cast into the sea: and the third part of the sea became blood; [9] and the third part of the creatures which were in the sea, and had life, died; and the third part of the ships were destroyed. [10] And the third angel sounded, and there fell a great star from heaven, burning as it were a lamp, and it fell upon the third part of the rivers, and upon the fountains of waters; [11] and the name of the star is called Wormwood: and the third part of the waters became wormwood; and many men died of the waters, because they were made bitter. [12] And the fourth angel sounded, and the third part of the sun was smitten, and the third part of the moon, and the third part of the stars; so as the third part of them was darkened, and the day shone not for a third part of it, and the night likewise. [13] And I beheld, and heard an angel flying through the midst of heaven, saying with a loud voice, Woe, woe, woe, to the inhabiters of the earth by reason of the other voices of the trumpet of the three angels, which are yet to sound!

Silence first, for the space of about a half hour in heaven. How do you feel about it, all that you have just read? Can you take a moment's pause, consider all that this means? Yes, the prayers of the saints are honored and heard, but then the coals from the altar are poured out on earth. Friends, we are no longer on earth at this time, and those of us that might still be on the earth then, woe unto them. Heaven opens this period up with a moment of silence, please understand. This is the Wrath of GOD coming upon the earth.

What have you prayed to GOD? What have you left in your prayer for them that may be left behind? Among those that remain behind, will be those we knew, those we loved, those we begged to get serious about their faith; just as I have been doing to all of you for the better part of 2 years now. As I called you to prepare, so have I prepared to ensure I have oil for my lamp.

Is there still time now? To repent for ourselves, and to forgive all that has been done to us? Can we show mercy as GOD has shown us mercy? Can we muster a thank you, for all that we have learned, all that the Lord has done for us, all that He had given us and created for our benefit?

Are we truly ready to leave all behind and follow Christ?

Who are these Seven Angels that stood before GOD, that received the trumpets and to sound them? Are they the seven in the palm of Christ's right hand, those before the throne of GOD, the Angels that brought the Word of GOD to the 7 churches mentioned in Revelation 1? Friends, they didn't come before the Lord, they were there already. The one that comes in is the one that offers up the prayers of the saints, remember how those at the altar asked, how long still Lord, before you avenge us upon the earth? It appears the full number of the tribulation saints have now come in.

Do you understand? Do you remember what we have read? Or, is that the one that you skipped? You don't have to read along with me. You do not have to hear me. But, each of us will have to work out our Salvation with the Lord of Salvation. Each of us will have to walk into the peace of GOD, leaving behind all that which stands between us and GOD.

Friends, what follows is for those that didn't listen, or thought that they would have more time. Spiritually, they always said “a little more sleep, a little more slumber;” but were quick enough to rise for everything else.

The first trumpet sounds! After this procession in heaven, preparing all that had to be done to go into this moment, even all the prayers of the saints being honored; and woe unto the earth and it's inhabitants, all that is still in the earth at this time, and in the sea.

Oh, I hope that all of us are prayed up and found worthy to escape all of what comes hereafter upon the earth. And if, then, some of us are left behind, I pray that those that are no longer with us had made provisions for us. And so should we, even if it is just leaving behind kind words to encourage and inspire that they may repent before the Lord their God and accept what they have brought upon themselves. That they will not take part in cursing GOD, but submit to their fate. Maybe the Lord will find mercy for them, as He did, for Lot and his daughters, that they will not be like Lot's wife and look back again, and neither should we now.

Friends, I will leave you more links on the BlogSpot page, so that you can hear others speak on this chapter too, not just me alone. But, what I urge you to do, is to become ready, while there still is time. That we ourselves might be ready, to stand upon the sea of glass before God's Throne. But also, to pray for mankind, and leave behind, as we can, something that may be of use for those that come to faith because of what they see come upon the earth. As we can, maybe a letter or a song, or some kind of writing; that they will not join themselves to those that may seek to make war with GOD.

Oh, I hope that this might inspire you now, to speak for the Lord Jesus Christ, to share His Gospel with those you love. Speak to the many, for the sake of one or maybe two. If we are fortunate, and reach more; how many can we convince to turn away from the death they are walking to? Can we sow mercy and grace, hope and love; and show how it is one repents? Can we lead them to Christ, Who showed us the Way?
