Note for 20240820 - 1 John 5 1-21 KJV - The Spirit is Truth
Audio Version of Note (Advised)
1 John 5:1-21 KJV
[1] Whosoever believeth that Jesus is the Christ is born of God: and every one that loveth him that begat loveth him also that is begotten of him. [2] By this we know that we love the children of God, when we love God, and keep his commandments. [3] For this is the love of God, that we keep his commandments: and his commandments are not grievous. [4] For whatsoever is born of God overcometh the world: and this is the victory that overcometh the world, even our faith. [5] Who is he that overcometh the world, but he that believeth that Jesus is the Son of God? [6] This is he that came by water and blood, even Jesus Christ; not by water only, but by water and blood. And it is the Spirit that beareth witness, because the Spirit is truth. [7] For there are three that bear record in heaven, the Father, the Word, and the Holy Ghost: and these three are one. [8] And there are three that bear witness in earth, the Spirit, and the water, and the blood: and these three agree in one. [9] If we receive the witness of men, the witness of God is greater: for this is the witness of God which he hath testified of his Son. [10] He that believeth on the Son of God hath the witness in himself: he that believeth not God hath made him a liar; because he believeth not the record that God gave of his Son. [11] And this is the record, that God hath given to us eternal life, and this life is in his Son. [12] He that hath the Son hath life; and he that hath not the Son of God hath not life. [13] These things have I written unto you that believe on the name of the Son of God; that ye may know that ye have eternal life, and that ye may believe on the name of the Son of God. [14] And this is the confidence that we have in him, that, if we ask any thing according to his will, he heareth us: [15] and if we know that he hear us, whatsoever we ask, we know that we have the petitions that we desired of him. [16] If any man see his brother sin a sin which is not unto death, he shall ask, and he shall give him life for them that sin not unto death. There is a sin unto death: I do not say that he shall pray for it. [17] All unrighteousness is sin: and there is a sin not unto death. [18] We know that whosoever is born of God sinneth not; but he that is begotten of God keepeth himself, and that wicked one toucheth him not. [19] And we know that we are of God, and the whole world lieth in wickedness. [20] And we know that the Son of God is come, and hath given us an understanding, that we may know him that is true, and we are in him that is true, even in his Son Jesus Christ. This is the true God, and eternal life. [21] Little children, keep yourselves from idols. Amen.

Note for 2024/08/20
Have you ever read something and then it is as if you have never read it before? And yet, my whole soul is in agreement with these statements of John. Deep, from within myself, it is as if my soul is shouting, "Yes, yes; Amen! That is the truth. Speak it out Loud and Clear."
Paul wrote somewhere, that we must work out our salvation with the Lord, is that not based on the Word of GOD? For it is by the Word of GOD that we learn of GOD, but these days, it is more as if the Word of GOD speaks of that which is in me. I know it is True, for the Spirit in me confirms it. It is my Hope that is true for you too.
Do you stand in agreement with GOD? It is easier when the word of GOD speaks of Salvation and redemption, but where is your agreement when it speaks of the wicked and the coming judgment of the world? Where do you stand on the story of creation, or do you still believe that things happened differently than the Word of GOD gives us? Have you got a problem with the Trinity, because this chapter speaks of it clearly. Do you think somehow that GOD is unable to keep His Word? There is no guile in GOD, friends. Now you know that by your faith in Christ our Lord, you are called the children of the Living Most High GOD. Born of Him by the Spirit, thus must you lay down the flesh, subdue it under His command. So, even in fasting, the flesh is denied the power of demand, and the want of it is resisted so the Spirit may rule over the flesh while we are in it yet. Thus is self-control a fruit of the Spirit. Let your yes then be yes and your no be no, whether it be in answer in the earth or in the heavens. You cannot be tempted by that which is not in you, so purge then iniquity from within. What then is within you, a strive for self, or a strive for our Father in Heaven and His Son our Lord Jesus Christ, by the Holy Spirit that we were given from GOD? Then we stand in enmity with the carnal mind and the heart aligns with the Will of GOD. So we pray, Thy Kingdom come, Thy Will be done, in earth as it is in Heaven. So we become ambassadors for Christ. Then we do not stand in agreement with the iniquities of this world, sojourners here until we are redeemed to GOD on the day of the appearance of our Lord and Savior. Keep the truth, and distance yourself from every lie. Keep your word in check that it be of the Lord your GOD. Do as if you are certain that the Most High GOD stands in witness of all. Yes, even your thoughts keep clear. Wash it by the Word of GOD, removing every spot and wrinkle of your garment. Tame both the tongue and heart, by the Word of GOD.
My hope is that as you keep yourself occupied with these things, that you may learn compassion for the struggle of those you see. And if they then be lost still, that the compassion in you will go to work unto the help that is required to see your brothers and sisters through to the end too. Not by judgment or condemnation, but by the help that we are able to give, in humble service, by the Spirit of GOD that is in us.
Shalom

Joel 2:12-13 KJV
[12] Therefore also now, saith the LORD, turn ye even to me with all your heart, and with fasting, and with weeping, and with mourning: [13] and rend your heart, and not your garments, and turn unto the LORD your God: for he is gracious and merciful, slow to anger, and of great kindness, and repenteth him of the evil.

From Psalms and Proverbs
Psalm 98:1-9 KJV
[1] O sing unto the LORD a new song; For he hath done marvellous things: His right hand, and his holy arm, Hath gotten him the victory. [2] The LORD hath made known his salvation: His righteousness hath he openly shewed in the sight of the heathen. [3] He hath remembered his mercy and his truth toward the house of Israel: All the ends of the earth have seen the salvation of our God. [4] Make a joyful noise unto the LORD, all the earth: Make a loud noise, and rejoice, and sing praise. [5] Sing unto the LORD with the harp; With the harp, and the voice of a psalm. [6] With trumpets and sound of cornet Make a joyful noise before the LORD, the King. [7] Let the sea roar, and the fulness thereof; The world, and they that dwell therein. [8] Let the floods clap their hands: Let the hills be joyful together [9] Before the LORD; For he cometh to judge the earth: With righteousness shall he judge the world, And the people with equity.

Proverbs 31:1-9 KJV
[1] The words of king Lemuel, the prophecy that his mother taught him. [2] What, my son? and what, the son of my womb? And what, the son of my vows? [3] Give not thy strength unto women, Nor thy ways to that which destroyeth kings. [4] It is not for kings, O Lemuel, it is not for kings to drink wine; Nor for princes strong drink: [5] Lest they drink, and forget the law, And pervert the judgment of any of the afflicted. [6] Give strong drink unto him that is ready to perish, And wine unto those that be of heavy hearts. [7] Let him drink, and forget his poverty, And remember his misery no more. [8] Open thy mouth for the dumb In the cause of all such as are appointed to destruction. [9] Open thy mouth, judge righteously, And plead the cause of the poor and needy.
