[1] Jude, the servant of Jesus Christ, and brother of James, to them that are sanctified by God the Father, and preserved in Jesus Christ, and called: [2] mercy unto you, and peace, and love, be multiplied. [3] Beloved, when I gave all diligence to write unto you of the common salvation, it was needful for me to write unto you, and exhort you that ye should earnestly contend for the faith which was once delivered unto the saints. [4] For there are certain men crept in unawares, who were before of old ordained to this condemnation, ungodly men, turning the grace of our God into lasciviousness, and denying the only Lord God, and our Lord Jesus Christ. [5] I will therefore put you in remembrance, though ye once knew this, how that the Lord, having saved the people out of the land of Egypt, afterward destroyed them that believed not. [6] And the angels which kept not their first estate, but left their own habitation, he hath reserved in everlasting chains under darkness unto the judgment of the great day. [7] Even as Sodom and Gomorrha, and the cities about them in like manner, giving themselves over to fornication, and going after strange flesh, are set forth for an example, suffering the vengeance of eternal fire. [8] Likewise also these filthy dreamers defile the flesh, despise dominion, and speak evil of dignities. [9] Yet Michael the archangel, when contending with the devil he disputed about the body of Moses, durst not bring against him a railing accusation, but said, The Lord rebuke thee. [10] But these speak evil of those things which they know not: but what they know naturally, as brute beasts, in those things they corrupt themselves. [11] Woe unto them! for they have gone in the way of Cain, and ran greedily after the error of Balaam for reward, and perished in the gainsaying of Core. [12] These are spots in your feasts of charity, when they feast with you, feeding themselves without fear: clouds they are without water, carried about of winds; trees whose fruit withereth, without fruit, twice dead, plucked up by the roots; [13] raging waves of the sea, foaming out their own shame; wandering stars, to whom is reserved the blackness of darkness for ever. [14] And Enoch also, the seventh from Adam, prophesied of these, saying, Behold, the Lord cometh with ten thousands of his saints, [15] to execute judgment upon all, and to convince all that are ungodly among them of all their ungodly deeds which they have ungodly committed, and of all their hard speeches which ungodly sinners have spoken against him. [16] These are murmurers, complainers, walking after their own lusts; and their mouth speaketh great swelling words, having men's persons in admiration because of advantage. [17] But, beloved, remember ye the words which were spoken before of the apostles of our Lord Jesus Christ; [18] how that they told you there should be mockers in the last time, who should walk after their own ungodly lusts. [19] These be they who separate themselves, sensual, having not the Spirit. [20] But ye, beloved, building up yourselves on your most holy faith, praying in the Holy Ghost, [21] keep yourselves in the love of God, looking for the mercy of our Lord Jesus Christ unto eternal life. [22] And of some have compassion, making a difference: [23] and others save with fear, pulling them out of the fire; hating even the garment spotted by the flesh. [24] Now unto him that is able to keep you from falling, and to present you faultless before the presence of his glory with exceeding joy, [25] to the only wise God our Saviour, be glory and majesty, dominion and power, both now and ever. Amen.

Please Note: 

Today, I will leave a long list of scriptures at the end of the document, for those that want to look deeper into the subject. The referenced scriptures will be provided with links on the blog and in the pdf document I make available on some platforms, though I will not include it on the shorter platforms like WhatsApp.

Let us proceed with the note for today.

Who of us has seen an angel? In a like manner, I can ask, who have behold our Lord Jesus Christ, face to face? Jude wanted to write on the common faith, but instead found it necessary to write on these strange men that have come in unawares. This, one of the strongest testimonies for the Book of Enoch, that indeed they had knowledge of the content of it, at very least.

I try my very best to keep the language of these notes so that most can read and understand, if the Spirit of GOD is in them. Yes, the sentences are processed in the Spirit, for my opinion is just that, an opinion, but the Holy Spirit will speak in line with the Word of GOD as the Word of GOD is edged into the believer's heart. In writing and in reading, the qualification comes by the Spirit within, of things unseen, a faith established by the grace of GOD. Friends, does the unseen then exist or not? What is the core of our faith in Christ, who Himself spoke a special blessing out on those who believed not having seen.

This letter of Jude, it speaks on things unseen too, even of the very things that Paul points to in Ephesians 6. Moses wrote of them in Genesis 6 and we cannot forget what our Most High GOD said to the woman and the serpent in Genesis 3:15. Did Christ not drive out Legion into the pigs? What then moves the flesh, in the absence of the Holy Spirit of GOD? What then is ungodly, but that which is outside His will for mankind? Who are these passengers that ride a man like a beast? Christ spoke on these evil spirits, even as He spoke on how a spirit will return to a house that has been swept clean with seven stronger than him, leaving the latter state of a man worse than it was before. Christ spoke of the strong man of a house, so I ask you again, do you believe what you read. If Christ is our Savior, what and who are we saved from then?

What brings contention in the flesh, which we subdue by the Holy Spirit of GOD? What feeds the desires of the flesh to stand in rebellion against our Most High GOD and Father in Heaven? These questions, indeed, have answers, but what is an answer without belief? These are things that should be investigated, for it is the Word of GOD that speaks of Satan, devils and evil spirits as the enemies of GOD, and as man is formed in the likeness of GOD, these also, the enemies of mankind. Who is it that brought the woman in Eden to disobey the LORD? And who is the seed of the serpent, God speaks of in Genesis 3:15? Who are the giants of Genesis 6, the mentioned nephilim and the sons of Anak? Who then was Goliath and his four brothers? What of Og of Bashan? Who then are the ungodly men, what are the abominations mentioned in Genesis 6? Dare I include how Christ revered to those that came to him with questions to trick him as the seed of vipers and serpents? These are strange men, ungodly men, whose roots are not in God's creation, but by the defiance of His order and of strange flesh, when the angels did not keep their estate, but took for themselves wives from the daughters of mankind. Appearing as a man, but with a dark, evil and ungodly spirit. Christ spoke of these in the parable of the seed sown in the field, where the enemy came in by night and planted weeds among the wheat. This is of goats and sheep that will be separated, just as He spoke of in Matthew 25. These always seek to corrupt what GOD has made.

Friends, this is a huge study, so for some the words of Jude seem somewhat foreign. But, in the understanding of this, one can also make sense of how King David made war on those in Canaan. To kill every man, woman and child in a city, even the beasts. And how in some cities, even all the loot was set to be destroyed. It was about abominations in the sight of GOD, for what is strange flesh then, that Jude writes on, here? Who then is the enemy of GOD and mankind?

At harvest time, the weeds will be taken out first and cast into fire, according to the parable of Christ. And then the wheat and the chaff will be separated. The chaff thrown in the fire and the seed taken to the threshing floor. Have you not read how King David bought a threshing floor from a Jebusite where King Solomon built the first Temple for the LORD in Jerusalem? What then was the restriction from mingling with those in Canaan for the Israelites, by the Instruction of the LORD our GOD?

Now, we still know in part, but we know The Way unto Salvation. We know, by the Words of Christ, that the Lord will send angels to harvest the field of GOD. Keep this in mind, as we head closer to reading the Revelations of Jesus Christ to John on Patmos. Then you will see the parable described with much more detail.

We cannot save ourselves, but we can accept Salvation by the Son of GOD. The Lamb of GOD, Who was a one time offering for sin and death, to redeem the children of GOD. Those that are undefiled by the seed of the serpent.

But friends, if you need true clarity, it is best received from GOD. Pray to the Lord, that He will make it clear for you, even as we pray for the whole armor of GOD as per Ephesians 6. The LORD is our Protector. He is our Deliverer and Savior. For man this is impossible, but for GOD it is more than possible. Understand then, where contention with God Almighty stems from. It is indeed a rebellion, and mankind is being tricked by the seed of the trickster.

May GOD bless and keep you. May Christ be the One who reveals things for you too. All that we need to know is contained within the Word of GOD, so we should know the Word of GOD, even as if it is edged onto our hearts.

Supporting Texts for the Note

Friends, I pose the question to you today: How much of the Word must we discount from the Word of GOD to adopt the doctrines of men, even inspired by these evil spirits that we read of here. Here, read the scriptures below and pray to The Lord for understanding. If we do not see the whole of the Word of GOD, we can easily see GOD in a different light than what He stands in. He is not a Tyrant, but by His mercy and grace He has stood in our Protection since the dawn of man, even ever since the origin of sin and the fall of mankind.

Now, indeed there are arguments that can be made one and the other way, of what this seed refers to, but it is a strong case for the sake of a spiritual seed. One of The Truth and the other of lies and deception, though we cannot discount the reference to the giants. This is an exhaustive study and one that even advanced scholars differ from one another in diverse ways. Regardless, we cannot simply remove the text from the Word of GOD.

I sincerely hope these scriptures will be an advantage in the Spirit for you, but remember, that it is in GOD we trust, by the Blood of Christ are we saved. Do not permit this to bring divisions among you, but stay in the teachings of Christ, that by their fruit shall we know them. This is still just skimming the surface on this subject.

Short Note

According to a quick search, this length of the bed was about 4.1 meters long. He was a giant. Now while there is no special interest at this time to go to the origin stories of these men of great stature, it is still important to know that the Word does report on this consistently.

Short Note

In Genesis 11 we read of the building of the Tower of Babel, which was the early root of what we know as Babylon. Note: he began to be a mighty one.

With a bit of a fuller understanding, we can quickly see where the source of rebellious nature springs forth from.

Short Note

This study is too long to capture in just one day. Though I have given you many scriptures in highlight, that you may look into it further.

Man is obsessed with the world we see, but it is the unseen world that is where the enemies of GOD operate from. As with Legion, we have seen possession and here we learn of the true contention in the earth.

So, again, the question. Who will you then serve, for man is moved by the Spirit that indwells with him. Understand the strongman concept that Christ spoke on.
