Note for 2024/05/09 - Romans 5:1-21 KJV - Partakers in Faith
Romans 5:1-21 KJV
[1] Therefore being justified by faith, we have peace with God through our Lord Jesus Christ: [2] by whom also we have access by faith into this grace wherein we stand, and rejoice in hope of the glory of God. [3] And not only so, but we glory in tribulations also: knowing that tribulation worketh patience; [4] and patience, experience; and experience, hope: [5] and hope maketh not ashamed; because the love of God is shed abroad in our hearts by the Holy Ghost which is given unto us. [6] For when we were yet without strength, in due time Christ died for the ungodly. [7] For scarcely for a righteous man will one die: yet peradventure for a good man some would even dare to die. [8] But God commendeth his love toward us, in that, while we were yet sinners, Christ died for us. [9] Much more then, being now justified by his blood, we shall be saved from wrath through him. [10] For if, when we were enemies, we were reconciled to God by the death of his Son, much more, being reconciled, we shall be saved by his life. [11] And not only so, but we also joy in God through our Lord Jesus Christ, by whom we have now received the atonement. [12] Wherefore, as by one man sin entered into the world, and death by sin; and so death passed upon all men, for that all have sinned: [13] (for until the law sin was in the world: but sin is not imputed when there is no law. [14] Nevertheless death reigned from Adam to Moses, even over them that had not sinned after the similitude of Adam's transgression, who is the figure of him that was to come. [15] But not as the offence, so also is the free gift. For if through the offence of one many be dead, much more the grace of God, and the gift by grace, which is by one man, Jesus Christ, hath abounded unto many. [16] And not as it was by one that sinned, so is the gift: for the judgment was by one to condemnation, but the free gift is of many offences unto justification. [17] For if by one man's offence death reigned by one; much more they which receive abundance of grace and of the gift of righteousness shall reign in life by one, Jesus Christ.) [18] Therefore as by the offence of one judgment came upon all men to condemnation; even so by the righteousness of one the free gift came upon all men unto justification of life. [19] For as by one man's disobedience many were made sinners, so by the obedience of one shall many be made righteous. [20] Moreover the law entered, that the offence might abound. But where sin abounded, grace did much more abound: [21] that as sin hath reigned unto death, even so might grace reign through righteousness unto eternal life by Jesus Christ our Lord.

Note for 2024/05/09
Friends, consider what you have read here, especially in the first 11 verses; and know that this does not stand in isolation but is a continuation from Romans 1. Now some might not have heard this, so I will mention it for their behalf, the Bible was not written in Chapters and verses friends. That was added later, but you can investigate that for yourself. What that means though, is that you really should see each book as a work on its own, therefore, as the books came by the many hands used, over many time periods, it is a confirmation of a Holy Kind that binds it to a unity. It's GOD'S Word, supreme to any other text among men.
Paul gives us validity to our faith even by principle. Adam and Jesus compared, and the consequence of their deeds. So can we be assured that we can find peace, that our faith in Jesus Christ is true. For walking after sin, we are the followers of Adam, but in repentance in Jesus Christ of Nazareth, we follow Him unto redemption. It is a legal president, lawful and acceptable in the sight of GOD our Father, Who is the Almighty GOD and creator of us all. The law defines sin, the cross defines our Salvation in Jesus Christ for He made atonement for us that stands for all eternity. To the man of faith, this is a fact that seals his heart for Christ Jesus, Who is also the vessel of GOD'S redemption of all mankind who believes upon His Sanctified Son, unto Salvation and deliverance. Because Abraham was willing to offer up Isaac in obedience and trust in GOD, even then GOD provided a ram in a bush, to replace Isaac on that altar. So has Christ became the Lamb for us, an eternal sin offering for us by the same substitution. So by faith like the faith of Abraham, are we saved in Jesus Christ. In both Adam and Abraham, the president was set that established the nature of Salvation that we now have part in. By one man sin came in, and by One is it taken off from mankind. And by obedience to his father did Isaac lay upon that altar, as Jesus Christ went upon the cross in obedience to His Father in Heaven.
This world, and the prince of this world, will seek to deceive you that what Christ has done for us is not enough to save us. And now, you know that there is a Heavenly legal president that was set by both Adam and Abraham. That means, sin leads to death and a falling away from GOD, a separation from the presence of GOD and all that is Holy unto God. But, and this is the Good News in Jesus Christ, that in Christ Jesus, we have become partakers of His death upon the cross, but also in His resurrection and the presence of the Holy Spirit within us. So are we reborn to the New Creature Christ Jesus spoke of. As He ascended unto Our Father in Heaven, so will we ascend too in the hour of our redemption unto GOD. All of the law that deals with redemption, who can redeem what, points to the legal president that GOD can redeem us. The price of redemption was paid by Jesus Christ, the Son of GOD that can legally redeem what belongs to His Father, as He is the only Begotten Son of GOD, the same as the son of Abraham and Sarah, by a promise of GOD. That is the promise from GOD that Abraham had faith in. It is all very legal and precise.
Now you know. Now you can have part in Salvation and can be certain of it. What Christ did was enough, but to have a part in that, you must believe in Jesus Christ.
May the Holy Spirit and The Word of GOD confirm the Truth in you. For I am just an ordinary man, who GOD loves. And as He loves me, He loves all that come to Him in the Truth of Jesus Christ, Who is the Way, the Truth and the Life.
So, the peace of GOD may be with you inwardly, even as the Holy Spirit of GOD resides in you. So, the Father and the Son make their abode in us. It requires faith, yes! We must believe, yes! We must be reborn into a new creature, but all of that is established in what Christ has done for us, by obedience to our Heavenly Father who made the declaration that we know as John 3:16.
Psalm 84:1-12 KJV
[1] How amiable are thy tabernacles, O LORD of hosts! [2] My soul longeth, yea, even fainteth for the courts of the LORD: My heart and my flesh crieth out for the living God. [3] Yea, the sparrow hath found an house, and the swallow a nest for herself, where she may lay her young, Even thine altars, O LORD of hosts, my King, and my God. [4] Blessed are they that dwell in thy house: They will be still praising thee. Selah. [5] Blessed is the man whose strength is in thee; In whose heart are the ways of them. [6] Who passing through the valley of Baca make it a well; The rain also filleth the pools. [7] They go from strength to strength, Every one of them in Zion appeareth before God. [8] O LORD God of hosts, hear my prayer: Give ear, O God of Jacob. Selah. [9] Behold, O God our shield, And look upon the face of thine anointed. [10] For a day in thy courts Is better than a thousand. I had rather be a doorkeeper in the house of my God, Than to dwell in the tents of wickedness. [11] For the LORD God is a sun and shield: The LORD will give grace and glory: No good thing will he withhold from them that walk uprightly. [12] O LORD of hosts, Blessed is the man that trusteth in thee.

Additional Note
Know now, in Christ Jesus, you are anointed and marked by the Holy Spirit for the redemption by GOD. Christ is the Greek form of Messiah in Hebrew, which means anointed. What then is it to be a Christian? Nothing is by chance, it is all appointed by God's Will. That means that all the promises for the anointed, are also promises for those who are joined to Christ Jesus, and of righteousness, and all the promises to the righteous, we may receive in the righteousness of Christ Jesus. But, we can only have a part in that if we believe in Jesus Christ as the Only begotten Son of GOD, and our Savior.
I hope this clears some matters up for those that may still struggle to understand.
May revelation come unto you by the Holy Spirit of GOD, that your faith may be sealed.
Shalom
