Note for 2024/05/27 - ‭2 Corinthians 6:1-18 KJV - The Lord Prepares‬

‭2 Corinthians 6:1-18 KJV‬

[1] We then, as workers together with him, beseech you also that ye receive not the grace of God in vain. [2] (For he saith, I have heard thee in a time accepted, And in the day of salvation have I succoured thee: behold, now is the accepted time; behold, now is the day of salvation.) [3] Giving no offence in any thing, that the ministry be not blamed: [4] But in all things approving ourselves as the ministers of God, in much patience, in afflictions, in necessities, in distresses, [5] in stripes, in imprisonments, in tumults, in labours, in watchings, in fastings; [6] by pureness, by knowledge, by longsuffering, by kindness, by the Holy Ghost, by love unfeigned, [7] by the word of truth, by the power of God, by the armour of righteousness on the right hand and on the left, [8] by honour and dishonour, by evil report and good report: as deceivers, and yet true; [9] as unknown, and yet well known; as dying, and, behold, we live; as chastened, and not killed; [10] as sorrowful, yet alway rejoicing; as poor, yet making many rich; as having nothing, and yet possessing all things. [11] O ye Corinthians, our mouth is open unto you, our heart is enlarged. [12] Ye are not straitened in us, but ye are straitened in your own bowels. [13] Now for a recompence in the same, (I speak as unto my children,) be ye also enlarged.  [14] Be ye not unequally yoked together with unbelievers: for what fellowship hath righteousness with unrighteousness? and what communion hath light with darkness? [15] And what concord hath Christ with Belial? or what part hath he that believeth with an infidel? [16] And what agreement hath the temple of God with idols? for ye are the temple of the living God; as God hath said, I will dwell in them, and walk in them; and I will be their God, and they shall be my people. [17] Wherefore Come out from among them, and be ye separate, saith the Lord, And touch not the unclean thing; And I will receive you, [18] And will be a Father unto you, And ye shall be my sons and daughters, saith the Lord Almighty.

Note for 2024/05/27

My friends,

It is not necessary for me to say anything, the text says it all. The Word of GOD is always enough, sufficient to meet us in everything.

Friends, I share with you intimate moments, by GOD'S instruction. Know this, that this text, both the scripture and what I write is for the believers in Jesus Christ. For if you do not believe, then you will be unfamiliar with the Spirit of GOD. But since you have the Spirit of GOD in you, you can say, Amen. For it is the Spirit that confirms things in you.

There are those that might seek to convince you that you can live as you please when you believe. "Do as thou wilt," they will say in undertones. But, what do you read here in GOD'S word? That you should separate yourself from the workers of iniquity, that you have nothing in common. As believers you are called into a separation led by the Spirit of GOD, even not to touch the unclean thing. Then He will receive you.

Note: it is not I that says it, but I do agree with the Word of GOD. What have you got in common with unbelievers, they have no hope. When you present them with hope, they will not receive it, for they are intent on self-service. As I write here, I share with you without expectation of return. I pour out, freely; all that is directed of the Lord. I have to give, because I did receive of GOD first. And just like me, you can receive from GOD too, even when you are by yourself, alone with GOD in your inner room. In Christ Jesus, we are united with our Father in Heaven by the Holy Spirit, which is God the Messenger. By the Holy Spirit, GOD indwells with us. We are the Temple that is not built by hands. Read, then, this chapter again, please.

How can you carry on just as before? How can you live a life that is common for unbelievers? They cannot perceive the Glory of our Lord. They are as the blind, yet they have eyes, but do not see. They have ears, but it is closed off to the Truth, so have they become deaf. In times of trouble, they have no hope; but we know that GOD will deliver us, because we are His Children.

Friends, what then separates you from those who stand in hopelessness? Do you say the same things, wear the same clothes, have the same thoughts and do as they do? What is separate about that? If you are not ministering for their salvation, what business do you have with them? For you minister Christ to them, but what is their testimony, who do they minister for, but to draw you back into the world? If you pay attention, you will hear the words of their father, in lies and deceptions. They will seek to make you trust in something other than The GOD you serve.

No, when you do interact with those still in the world, let it only be out of necessity and in every moment look for occasion to minister the Message of Good Hope in Christ to them. Give them no occasion to bring a charge against the Church of Christ Jesus our Lord. Be fair in trading, be humble and not puffed up. Do not minister to evil spirits and demons, rather evict them from the person they possess. Remember though, the words of Christ, if you evict, you better make sure that person is filled by the Holy Spirit, less that house is found clean and swept out, without an occupant. For Christ said, then that spirit goes out and finds 7 others more brutal than himself, and the end of that person is worse off than at first. It is thus crucial that the person declare his will to receive Christ.

The Lord said that he sends us out as sheep among wolves. Do not be mistaken about the world you are in. For Satan is described by the Lord as a roaming Lion, seeking to devour all he finds.

I know that there might be those, even amongst us in the church, that may find these words disturbing. My friends, read the Gospels again, it is not I that said it first. Read it for yourself, all of it. Do not just eat the scraps and crumbs that fall from the table. Don't you know that as a child of GOD you can sit at the table and be fed a whole course. The entire meal is available to you in Christ Jesus our Lord and Savior. But to eat, you must sit down at the table.

Day by day now, I have brought you lunch (in continuation of this metaphor.) I know that not all of you eat it. I know that some are left untouched. But if the Lord wills it, I will bring more tomorrow, and here you have some to eat for this day. What I have in Jesus Christ, I give to you. I cannot give what I did not receive. And what I give, it does not deplete, in fact, it becomes more and more. It is as a river of life. It is of GOD, in Christ by The Holy Spirit. My concern for you, is of GOD, for it is He that loved us first.

Come out from them, my friends. Sit not at their tables. Do not eat of the bread that they have for you. For their words are meant to lure you away from the Word of GOD, which is Christ Jesus our Lord. If you must then sit down with unbelievers, feed you them. Share the Word of GOD with them, plant the seed where there is need for planting, water if water is needed, cultivate the ground. For one will sow and another water. Still another will cultivate, while another will be sent to harvest. Do the work that is found to be done, so the next can do his duty too.

In closing I will urge you again. Be sure to read this chapter again at the end of reading here. You will see how the text in highlight out of the Word of GOD says all you need to know for the day you are in.

Shalom, my brothers and sisters. May GOD Bless and Keep you, may His favor shine down on you for prime growth. May He meet you in every need and be your Protector and Provider. May GOD go with you, receive what He has in store for you.

Shalom.

From Psalms for this Day

‭Psalm 83:1-18 KJV‬

[1] Keep not thou silence, O God: Hold not thy peace, and be not still, O God. [2] For, lo, thine enemies make a tumult: And they that hate thee have lifted up the head. [3] They have taken crafty counsel against thy people, And consulted against thy hidden ones. [4] They have said, Come, and let us cut them off from being a nation; That the name of Israel may be no more in remembrance. [5] For they have consulted together with one consent: They are confederate against thee: [6] The tabernacles of Edom, and the Ishmaelites; Of Moab, and the Hagarenes; [7] Gebal, and Ammon, and Amalek; The Philistines with the inhabitants of Tyre; [8] Assur also is joined with them: They have holpen the children of Lot. Selah. [9] Do unto them as unto the Midianites; As to Sisera, as to Jabin, at the brook of Kison: [10]  Which perished at Endor: They became as dung for the earth. [11] Make their nobles like Oreb, and like Zeeb: Yea, all their princes as Zebah, and as Zalmunna: [12] Who said, Let us take to ourselves The houses of God in possession. [13] O my God, make them like a wheel; As the stubble before the wind. [14] As the fire burneth a wood, And as the flame setteth the mountains on fire; [15] So persecute them with thy tempest, And make them afraid with thy storm. [16] Fill their faces with shame; That they may seek thy name, O LORD. [17] Let them be confounded and troubled for ever; Yea, let them be put to shame, and perish: [18] That men may know that thou, whose name alone is JEHOVAH, Art the Most High over all the earth.
