Note for 2024/04/19 - ‭Galatians 6:1-18 KJV

‭Galatians 6:1-18 KJV‬

[1] Brethren, if a man be overtaken in a fault, ye which are spiritual, restore such an one in the spirit of meekness; considering thyself, lest thou also be tempted. [2] Bear ye one another's burdens, and so fulfil the law of Christ. [3] For if a man think himself to be something, when he is nothing, he deceiveth himself. [4] But let every man prove his own work, and then shall he have rejoicing in himself alone, and not in another. [5] For every man shall bear his own burden. [6] Let him that is taught in the word communicate unto him that teacheth in all good things. [7] Be not deceived; God is not mocked: for whatsoever a man soweth, that shall he also reap. [8] For he that soweth to his flesh shall of the flesh reap corruption; but he that soweth to the Spirit shall of the Spirit reap life everlasting. [9] And let us not be weary in well doing: for in due season we shall reap, if we faint not. [10] As we have therefore opportunity, let us do good unto all men, especially unto them who are of the household of faith. [11] Ye see how large a letter I have written unto you with mine own hand. [12] As many as desire to make a fair shew in the flesh, they constrain you to be circumcised; only lest they should suffer persecution for the cross of Christ. [13] For neither they themselves who are circumcised keep the law; but desire to have you circumcised, that they may glory in your flesh. [14] But God forbid that I should glory, save in the cross of our Lord Jesus Christ, by whom the world is crucified unto me, and I unto the world. [15] For in Christ Jesus neither circumcision availeth any thing, nor uncircumcision, but a new creature. [16] And as many as walk according to this rule, peace be on them, and mercy, and upon the Israel of God. [17] From henceforth let no man trouble me: for I bear in my body the marks of the Lord Jesus. [18] Brethren, the grace of our Lord Jesus Christ be with your spirit. Amen. Unto the Galatians written from Rome.

Note for 2024/04/19

Friends,

This morning, it feels like it is the first time I read this text. Do we still correct each other like this, do we help others with their burdens? Friends, and here is where the Spirit comes in again, because the Spirit will testify to you in this. You know what is God's Merciful Kindness, the Grace He has extended to us? Even if you have never answered, "yes," you can do so now and throughout this day.

Each day is a brand new opportunity to do what is right, unto others, but also unto yourself; for who then will suffer if caught in unrepented sin? It is the Lord that refreshes us, less we wake in the same state as we went to sleep. Yesterday is now gone and over, it belongs to the past. If you walk out today, renewed in Jesus Christ; yesterday may be given to the sea of forgetfulness, your errors covered by the price Christ paid.

Look, you know where you have been. And, the consequences of your past decisions have hopefully  not gone unnoticed to you. Are you truly always right in all matters? Do not walk blindly through this life, please. Do not justify your misguided words and deeds. Test it, in the Spirit, and learn from your mistakes. Do not be so proud as to, not to correct what is in your power to correct. You read it here for yourself in verse 15, become that new creature then, be renewed in Christ Jesus our Lord. Do not make excuses for yourself, if the excuse is extended then, extend it to your friends. Forgive their transgressions against you. In judgment then, let that judgment assist you yourself to walk a path of correction in the Spirit of GOD. So is the nature of Christ formed in us, by the correction of the Holy Spirit. Yes! By the Word of GOD. Friends, there must be within you, the choice to do what is right.

It is easy to be fooled, that it is of self protection to cover what we have done with a lie. That is what the world does, and it is seemingly working for some. But is it truly working? For when the lie is uncovered the iniquity is found. GOD will not be mocked. When we admit our error to the LORD, and repent before Him; then by His mercy and grace that sin is forgiven and goes under the Blood of Christ. The wicked heap up their sin, covered by lies; but the righteous repent and refrain from standing in error again. How did Paul say it here in his letter to the Galatians? I write from recall. We stand in Liberty with Christ, but it should not be taken as an occasion to sin. GOD will not be mocked. We are saved by grace, not our deeds; though, as we learned for the Book of James, we can show our faith through deeds. Faith without works is dead.

Friends, do not be mistaken. Do not read the Word of GOD, simply for the sake of reading or easing your conscience. GOD will not be mocked. Learn from what you read and let that Wisdom guide you in all things. Live the Word out in your daily lives. Or, is the concept of loving your enemy only good on paper? What then if your enemy is hungry? One of the Prophets, (I am failing in remembering which one in this moment) lured the enemy into a trap, and when he had them caught, instead of killing them, he fed them. That led to peace.

What is your goal with what you do? Is it for survival of the flesh? Is it for gain, even at the cost of another? We need to have our thinking renewed too, for those are the ways of this world. Yes, a world to which we do not belong. So, a new creature is needed to defy the ways of this world, a new mindset is called for. Instead of blind reacting to things in our daily lives, we should rather pause and pray, and think what would be the better thing to do, for all concerned.

There is a lot here today. For some, it may be too much to remember. But even a little movement in the right direction eventually leads to good momentum if you persist in it day by day.

I will finish off with a reminder of the sinner on the cross besides our Lord, how He was granted to go to paradise with Christ the same day. He had no baptism or deeds that we know of, he only recognized Christ as the Son of GOD. GOD'S Grace is sufficient for us, but also know, you are not on that cross in the last moment of your life.

Walk then in the Spirit, live in it.

Shalom

YouVersion Note for the Day

‭1 Thessalonians 5:16 KJV‬

[16] Rejoice evermore.

Note on the Verse of the day

This is the verse of the day. And now, I cannot help but to leave a note when usually I don't. Two words extracted from a deep teaching.

So, I will add in this note, just a very little from the text that surrounds it to prove how important context is.

‭1 Thessalonians 5:14-22 KJV‬

[14] Now we exhort you, brethren, warn them that are unruly, comfort the feebleminded, support the weak, be patient toward all men. [15] See that none render evil for evil unto any man; but ever follow that which is good, both among yourselves, and to all men. [16] Rejoice evermore. [17] Pray without ceasing. [18] In every thing give thanks: for this is the will of God in Christ Jesus concerning you. [19] Quench not the Spirit. [20] Despise not prophesyings. [21] Prove all things; hold fast that which is good. [22] Abstain from all appearance of evil.

Context!

Friends, please check where a daily verse comes from and get some context. If you have missed an episode of your favorite show or game you wanted to see; would you be satisfied if I only said, "It's good?"

The Word of GOD is not a bumper sticker. There is a time for all things. Will you rejoice in the face of someone suffering?

Yes, we should increase our rejoicing more and more all the time. But if read out of context, the lesson that was given is not honored.

Please, do not live your life with bumper sticker quotes. Immerse yourself in the Word of GOD.

In The News

Israel retaliated by a strike on Iran for Iran’s assault on Saturday. I give a link to those who wish to look into it.

This seems to be the fullest report about it (at this time)

Extended Reading

This is only for those who are afforded the time to read on, as it is quite a bit. This was sent to me from a Brother in the Faith by specific instruction, in a manner that follows the note and the news on Israel and Iran.

‭Psalm 121:1-8 KJV‬

[1] I will lift up mine eyes unto the hills, From whence cometh my help. [2] My help cometh from the LORD, Which made heaven and earth. [3] He will not suffer thy foot to be moved: He that keepeth thee will not slumber. [4] Behold, he that keepeth Israel Shall neither slumber nor sleep. [5] The LORD is thy keeper: The LORD is thy shade upon thy right hand. [6] The sun shall not smite thee by day, Nor the moon by night. [7] The LORD shall preserve thee from all evil: He shall preserve thy soul. [8] The LORD shall preserve thy going out and thy coming in From this time forth, and even for evermore.

‭Psalm 123:1-4 KJV‬

[1] Unto thee lift I up mine eyes, O thou that dwellest in the heavens. [2] Behold, as the eyes of servants Look unto the hand of their masters, and as the eyes of a maiden unto the hand of her mistress; So our eyes wait upon the LORD our God, Until that he have mercy upon us. [3] Have mercy upon us, O LORD, have mercy upon us: For we are exceedingly filled with contempt. [4] Our soul is exceedingly filled with the scorning of those that are at ease, And with the contempt of the proud.

‭Psalm 124:1-8 KJV‬

[1] If it had not been the LORD who was on our side, now may Israel say; [2] If it had not been the LORD who was on our side, when men rose up against us: [3] Then they had swallowed us up quick, When their wrath was kindled against us: [4] Then the waters had overwhelmed us, The stream had gone over our soul: [5] Then the proud waters, Had gone over our soul. [6] Blessed be the LORD, Who hath not given us as a prey to their teeth. [7] Our soul is escaped as a bird out of the snare of the fowlers: The snare is broken, and we are escaped. [8] Our help is in the name of the LORD, Who made heaven and earth.

‭Psalm 125:1-5 KJV‬

[1] They that trust in the LORD Shall be as mount Zion, Which cannot be removed, But abideth for ever. [2]  As the mountains are round about Jerusalem, So the LORD is round about his people from henceforth even for ever. [3] For the rod of the wicked shall not rest upon the lot of the righteous; Lest the righteous put forth their hands unto iniquity. [4] Do good, O LORD, Unto those that be good, and to them that are upright in their hearts. [5] As for such as turn aside unto their crooked ways, the LORD shall lead them forth with the workers of iniquity: But peace shall be upon Israel.

‭Psalm 128:1-6 KJV‬

[1] Blessed is every one that feareth the LORD; That walketh in his ways. [2] For thou shalt eat the labour of thine hands: Happy shalt thou be, and it shall be well with thee. [3] Thy wife shall be as a fruitful vine by the sides of thine house: Thy children like olive plants round about thy table. [4] Behold, that thus shall the man be blessed that feareth the LORD. [5] The LORD shall bless thee out of Zion: And thou shalt see the good of Jerusalem all the days of thy life. [6] Yea, thou shalt see thy children's children, And peace upon Israel.

‭Psalm 129:1-8 KJV‬

[1] Many a time have they afflicted me from my youth, May Israel now say: [2] Many a time have they afflicted me from my youth: Yet they have not prevailed against me. [3] The plowers plowed upon my back: They made long their furrows. [4] The LORD is righteous: He hath cut asunder the cords of the wicked. [5] Let them all be confounded and turned back That hate Zion. [6] Let them be as the grass upon the housetops, Which withereth afore it groweth up: [7] Wherewith the mower filleth not his hand; Nor he that bindeth sheaves his bosom. [8] Neither do they which go by say, the blessing of the LORD be upon you: We bless you in the name of the LORD.

‭Psalm 130:1-8 KJV‬

[1] Out of the depths have I cried unto thee, O LORD. [2] Lord, hear my voice: Let thine ears be attentive To the voice of my supplications. [3] If thou, LORD, shouldest mark iniquities, O Lord, who shall stand? [4] But there is forgiveness with thee, That thou mayest be feared. [5] I wait for the LORD, my soul doth wait, And in his word do I hope. [6] My soul waiteth for the Lord More than they that watch for the morning: I say, more than they that watch for the morning. [7] Let Israel hope in the LORD: For with the LORD there is mercy, And with him is plenteous redemption. [8] And he shall redeem Israel from all his iniquities.

In Conclusion

Friends,

What is the base of your operations? Does Israel’s strategic planning include a consultation with The Most High GOD, The GOD of Abraham, Isaac and Jacob? Do they Acknowledge the Son of GOD? It is not my will that you be blinded to the possible outcomes here. Something happens to bring the period of 42 months in which Jerusalem is trampled under foot. Something creates the environment that convinces the whole world to come against Israel. Something sets the stage, where the anti-Christ can come into power, to declare peace.

Are we standing in the witness of the systematic fulfillment of prophecy, just as it was written?

Be alert! Be on watch, especially of your spiritual state. Look up, for the scene is set and even by probability we are now standing closer than ever before. Look Up! For your redemption draws near.

Shalom and Shalom.
