[41] And, behold, there came a man named Jairus, and he was a ruler of the synagogue: and he fell down at Jesus' feet, and besought him that he would come into his house: [42] for he had one only daughter, about twelve years of age, and she lay a dying. But as he went the people thronged him. [43] And a woman having an issue of blood twelve years, which had spent all her living upon physicians, neither could be healed of any, [44] came behind him, and touched the border of his garment: and immediately her issue of blood stanched. [45] And Jesus said, Who touched me? When all denied, Peter and they that were with him said, Master, the multitude throng thee and press thee, and sayest thou, Who touched me? [46] And Jesus said, Somebody hath touched me: for I perceive that virtue is gone out of me. [47] And when the woman saw that she was not hid, she came trembling, and falling down before him, she declared unto him before all the people for what cause she had touched him, and how she was healed immediately. [48] And he said unto her, Daughter, be of good comfort: thy faith hath made thee whole; go in peace. [49] While he yet spake, there cometh one from the ruler of the synagogue's house, saying to him, Thy daughter is dead: trouble not the Master. [50] But when Jesus heard it, he answered him, saying, Fear not: believe only, and she shall be made whole. [51] And when he came into the house, he suffered no man to go in, save Peter, and James, and John, and the father and the mother of the maiden. [52] And all wept, and bewailed her: but he said, Weep not; she is not dead, but sleepeth. [53] And they laughed him to scorn, knowing that she was dead. [54] And he put them all out, and took her by the hand, and called, saying, Maid, arise. [55] And her spirit came again, and she arose straightway: and he commanded to give her meat. [56] And her parents were astonished: but he charged them that they should tell no man what was done.

People... Arise in the Name of Jesus Christ. For by just touching His garment a woman was healed from a disease that physicians could not heal in 12 years, and He called the dead out of death, as He did with Lazarus, the brother of Mary and Martha too, after he was dead for days already. And this upcoming Sunday, we remember how Jesus was resurrected from the dead Himself.
Friends, you know of these two accounts, surely you have heard sermons on them before. But can you for just one moment consider how we are dead because of sin in the flesh? I will share with you this morning what I had the privilege to share with others just last night. But here, I will give a little more since I am afforded the time by Christ to do so.
Romans 8:1-17 KJV
[1] There is therefore now no condemnation to them which are in Christ Jesus, who walk not after the flesh, but after the Spirit. [2] For the law of the Spirit of life in Christ Jesus hath made me free from the law of sin and death. [3] For what the law could not do, in that it was weak through the flesh, God sending his own Son in the likeness of sinful flesh, and for sin, condemned sin in the flesh: [4] that the righteousness of the law might be fulfilled in us, who walk not after the flesh, but after the Spirit. [5] For they that are after the flesh do mind the things of the flesh; but they that are after the Spirit the things of the Spirit. [6] For to be carnally minded is death; but to be spiritually minded is life and peace. [7] Because the carnal mind is enmity against God: for it is not subject to the law of God, neither indeed can be. [8] So then they that are in the flesh cannot please God. [9] But ye are not in the flesh, but in the Spirit, if so be that the Spirit of God dwell in you. Now if any man have not the Spirit of Christ, he is none of his. [10] And if Christ be in you, the body is dead because of sin; but the Spirit is life because of righteousness. [11] But if the Spirit of him that raised up Jesus from the dead dwell in you, he that raised up Christ from the dead shall also quicken your mortal bodies by his Spirit that dwelleth in you. [12] Therefore, brethren, we are debtors, not to the flesh, to live after the flesh. [13] For if ye live after the flesh, ye shall die: but if ye through the Spirit do mortify the deeds of the body, ye shall live. [14] For as many as are led by the Spirit of God, they are the sons of God. [15] For ye have not received the spirit of bondage again to fear; but ye have received the Spirit of adoption, whereby we cry, Abba, Father. [16] The Spirit itself beareth witness with our spirit, that we are the children of God: [17] and if children, then heirs; heirs of God, and joint-heirs with Christ; if so be that we suffer with him, that we may be also glorified together.

Paul states this so much better than I can, so I wanted you to hear it in full and in truth. The heading for today calls a young damsel out of death, and... As the church of Christ, we are the Bride of Christ. So, by the Words of Christ I call to the church... "Tahlita Cumi!" Walk out of sin and death and come to Spirit and life, even everlasting life in Jesus Christ. Now, there is no condemnation for those who are in Christ, who walk not after the flesh, but after the Spirit and towards eternal life in Christ, joint-heirs with Christ, as the sons of GOD.
This weekend, by what the Love of GOD has done for us in Jesus Christ, The Word of GOD, that was with God in the beginning and was GOD then already, the Aleph-Tav, the Beginning and the End, the Only Begotten Son of GOD, our Messiah; remember, you have been granted the Spirit of GOD and life eternal for your faith in Him. Live then no longer as the dead but let life spring up in you. Live by the Light of Jesus Christ in you. As Christ forgives, so must we forgive.
Luke 23:33-34 KJV
[33] And when they were come to the place, which is called Calvary, there they crucified him, and the malefactors, one on the right hand, and the other on the left. [34] Then said Jesus, Father, forgive them; for they know not what they do. And they parted his raiment, and cast lots.

Forgive, as Jesus did, for that is the way of the Spirit that lives in you. Forgive. Charity covers a multitude of sins. Let the death of Christ on the cross, be the Life of Christ in you. For He, friends, are not in the grave anymore, but us resurrected, ascended and sitting at the right hand of GOD the Father in His Throne.
