John 10:1-42 KJV
[1] Verily, verily, I say unto you, He that entereth not by the door into the sheepfold, but climbeth up some other way, the same is a thief and a robber. [2] But he that entereth in by the door is the shepherd of the sheep. [3] To him the porter openeth; and the sheep hear his voice: and he calleth his own sheep by name, and leadeth them out. [4] And when he putteth forth his own sheep, he goeth before them, and the sheep follow him: for they know his voice. [5] And a stranger will they not follow, but will flee from him: for they know not the voice of strangers. [6] This parable spake Jesus unto them: but they understood not what things they were which he spake unto them. [7] Then said Jesus unto them again, Verily, verily, I say unto you, I am the door of the sheep. [8] All that ever came before me are thieves and robbers: but the sheep did not hear them. [9] I am the door: by me if any man enter in, he shall be saved, and shall go in and out, and find pasture. [10] The thief cometh not, but for to steal, and to kill, and to destroy: I am come that they might have life, and that they might have it more abundantly. [11] I am the good shepherd: the good shepherd giveth his life for the sheep. [12] But he that is an hireling, and not the shepherd, whose own the sheep are not, seeth the wolf coming, and leaveth the sheep, and fleeth: and the wolf catcheth them, and scattereth the sheep. [13] The hireling fleeth, because he is an hireling, and careth not for the sheep. [14] I am the good shepherd, and know my sheep, and am known of mine. [15] As the Father knoweth me, even so know I the Father: and I lay down my life for the sheep. [16] And other sheep I have, which are not of this fold: them also I must bring, and they shall hear my voice; and there shall be one fold, and one shepherd. [17] Therefore doth my Father love me, because I lay down my life, that I might take it again. [18] No man taketh it from me, but I lay it down of myself. I have power to lay it down, and I have power to take it again. This commandment have I received of my Father. [19] There was a division therefore again among the Jews for these sayings. [20] And many of them said, He hath a devil, and is mad; why hear ye him? [21] Others said, These are not the words of him that hath a devil. Can a devil open the eyes of the blind? [22] And it was at Jerusalem the feast of the dedication, and it was winter. [23] And Jesus walked in the temple in Solomon's porch. [24] Then came the Jews round about him, and said unto him, How long dost thou make us to doubt? If thou be the Christ, tell us plainly. [25] Jesus answered them, I told you, and ye believed not: the works that I do in my Father's name, they bear witness of me. [26] But ye believe not, because ye are not of my sheep, as I said unto you. [27] My sheep hear my voice, and I know them, and they follow me: [28] and I give unto them eternal life; and they shall never perish, neither shall any man pluck them out of my hand. [29] My Father, which gave them me, is greater than all; and no man is able to pluck them out of my Father's hand. [30] I and my Father are one. [31] Then the Jews took up stones again to stone him. [32] Jesus answered them, Many good works have I shewed you from my Father; for which of those works do ye stone me? [33] The Jews answered him, saying, For a good work we stone thee not; but for blasphemy; and because that thou, being a man, makest thyself God. [34] Jesus answered them, Is it not written in your law, I said, Ye are gods? [35] If he called them gods, unto whom the word of God came, and the scripture cannot be broken; [36] say ye of him, whom the Father hath sanctified, and sent into the world, Thou blasphemest; because I said, I am the Son of God? [37] If I do not the works of my Father, believe me not. [38] But if I do, though ye believe not me, believe the works: that ye may know, and believe, that the Father is in me, and I in him. [39] Therefore they sought again to take him: but he escaped out of their hand, [40] and went away again beyond Jordan into the place where John at first baptized; and there he abode. [41] And many resorted unto him, and said, John did no miracle: but all things that John spake of this man were true. [42] And many believed on him there.

Note for 20241213
Many times, we read from a certain scripture that we have heard before, and for some that becomes all they can see. Furthermore, sometimes one scripture will be taken out of context to teach something that will stroke the ears of those who hear it, and they will hear no more than that which please them. Take for instance this verse:
John 10:10 KJV
[10] The thief cometh not, but for to steal, and to kill, and to destroy: I am come that they might have life, and that they might have it more abundantly.
https://bible.com/bible/1/jhn.10.10.KJV
Is this all that this chapter says? Dare I ask, what is life that we might have it more abundantly; so we can live in sin? Don't you know that this abundant life is a life in Christ; to walk by and live in the Holy Spirit? To live by faith in Jesus Christ and to be brought into the family of GOD. "But as many as received him, to them gave he power to become the sons of God, even to them that believe on his name:" John 1:12 KJV.
Read here in this chapter how Christ speaks of the Good Shepherd which He is to us who believe on His Name, shall one that do not belong to Him hear His voice. Thus spoke He in parables. In John 1, we are introduced to the Word of GOD, Whom is Jesus Christ and also the Good Shepherd of GOD that tends to the sheep that GOD had given Him. Their names are written in the Book of Life, we are His. Who then are those who will not receive Him, those who will even seek to kill Him, and don't be mistaken, they will seek to kill those that belong to Him too. Who are they?
Daniel 2:43 KJV "And whereas thou sawest iron mixed with miry clay, they shall mingle themselves with the seed of men: but they shall not cleave one to another, even as iron is not mixed with clay." Who are these this scripture speaks of that they are spoken of "they" that shall mingle themselves with the seed of men?
You see, to tell who the sheep is, you must also know who the wolves are that Christ speaks of here in this scripture. He is the shepherd, we the sheep, who then is the wolves? Whose are those that will not follow the voice of the Good Shepherd? Oh! There are those among us that will be red with hate for what I am about to show you.
This is what Jude wrote...
Jude 1 KJV
[4] For there are certain men crept in unawares, who were before of old ordained to this condemnation, ungodly men, turning the grace of our God into lasciviousness, and denying the only Lord God, and our Lord Jesus Christ. [5] I will therefore put you in remembrance, though ye once knew this, how that the Lord, having saved the people out of the land of Egypt, afterward destroyed them that believed not. [6] And the angels which kept not their first estate, but left their own habitation, he hath reserved in everlasting chains under darkness unto the judgment of the great day. [7] Even as Sodom and Gomorrha, and the cities about them in like manner, giving themselves over to fornication, and going after strange flesh, are set forth for an example, suffering the vengeance of eternal fire. [8] Likewise also these filthy dreamers defile the flesh, despise dominion, and speak evil of dignities. [9] Yet Michael the archangel, when contending with the devil he disputed about the body of Moses, durst not bring against him a railing accusation, but said, The Lord rebuke thee. [10] But these speak evil of those things which they know not: but what they know naturally, as brute beasts, in those things they corrupt themselves. [11] Woe unto them! for they have gone in the way of Cain, and ran greedily after the error of Balaam for reward, and perished in the gainsaying of Core. [12] These are spots in your feasts of charity, when they feast with you, feeding themselves without fear: clouds they are without water, carried about of winds; trees whose fruit withereth, without fruit, twice dead, plucked up by the roots; [13] Raging waves of the sea, foaming out their own shame; wandering stars, to whom is reserved the blackness of darkness for ever. [14] And Enoch also, the seventh from Adam, prophesied of these, saying, Behold, the Lord cometh with ten thousands of his saints, [15] To execute judgment upon all, and to convince all that are ungodly among them of all their ungodly deeds which they have ungodly committed, and of all their hard speeches which ungodly sinners have spoken against him. [16] These are murmurers, complainers, walking after their own lusts; and their mouth speaketh great swelling words, having men's persons in admiration because of advantage.
These are those spoken of as "they" by Daniel. These that go in the way of Cain. They are wolves and devourers of men (mankind or sheep according to the parable Christ spoke.) Now you know who they are. They look like sheep, but are wolves in sheep's clothing. They have mingled themselves with the seed of mankind. Only, in this kingdom, they no longer cleave one to another as they did in times past, as recorded in Genesis 6. As Jude had to remind the church back then, his letter was left for us, so we may be reminded here today.
Now, here is the tough one... As you have read of these that went in the way of Cain. Read this too for perspective.
Genesis 3:14-15 KJV
[14] And the LORD God said unto the serpent, Because thou hast done this, thou art cursed above all cattle, and above every beast of the field; upon thy belly shalt thou go, and dust shalt thou eat all the days of thy life: [15] And I will put enmity between thee and the woman, and between thy seed and her seed; it shall bruise thy head, and thou shalt bruise his heel.
This is a mighty thing to come to know. There are thus enmity between these two seeds. And though this speaks of a specific seed, as we have come to know that the seed of the woman points to Jesus Christ for the Salvation of mankind, these kinds have endured upon the earth even until this day we are living in. It is these that King David fought in Canaan. Even those that made war on Israel when Moses led them. King Og of Bashan, yes, even Goliath, the Gittite, who is the most well known giant in the Bible. He is described as 'a champion out of the camp of the Philistines, whose height was six cubits and a span' (Samuel 17:4).
Goliath was a descendant of the Nephilim, the offspring of the "sons of God" and human wives. (Genesis 6)
They have been mingling with mankind since then, so much so, that today you might not be able to see them clearly among mankind. By their fruit shall you know them, these Tares that the enemy has sown into the field of GOD.
Now, know what Kingdom is on the rise, and who it may be that will stand as their champion in the age we are living in. They will be known by their mark, which is the way of Cain, a murderer from the beginning.
Now, we were not instructed to root out the Tares in the field of GOD, but the angels of GOD shall gather the Tares at harvest time, and throw them into the fire.
Why did I take you on this journey? Well, for one I wanted you to see what happened in the land of Canaan so you would not think GOD to be a Tyrant. Another is to show you that if love resides in you then God is in you, just as we have read here in the Gospel of Jesus Christ as testified by John. And then, if you be of GOD, then you are sheep of the flock that was given to Jesus Christ, the Son of GOD, to keep. Do not take on the practice of these wolves, do not live like them or speak like them, least you appear like them at harvest time. The Blood of Jesus Christ is the mark upon our house for the coming "passover." Let him who has an ear to hear, hear what the Spirit is saying to the Church of Christ.
Shalom
Verse of The Day
From the YouVersion Bible App (expanded from verse 14)
Jeremiah 33:14-18 KJV
[14] Behold, the days come, saith the LORD, that I will perform that good thing which I have promised unto the house of Israel and to the house of Judah. [15] In those days, and at that time, will I cause the Branch of righteousness to grow up unto David; and he shall execute judgment and righteousness in the land. [16] In those days shall Judah be saved, and Jerusalem shall dwell safely: and this is the name wherewith she shall be called, The LORD our righteousness. [17] For thus saith the LORD; David shall never want a man to sit upon the throne of the house of Israel; [18] neither shall the priests the Levites want a man before me to offer burnt offerings, and to kindle meat offerings, and to do sacrifice continually.
