Hebrews 2:1-18 KJV

[1] Therefore we ought to give the more earnest heed to the things which we have heard, lest at any time we should let them slip. [2] For if the word spoken by angels was stedfast, and every transgression and disobedience received a just recompence of reward; [3] how shall we escape, if we neglect so great salvation; which at the first began to be spoken by the Lord, and was confirmed unto us by them that heard him; [4] God also bearing them witness, both with signs and wonders, and with divers miracles, and gifts of the Holy Ghost, according to his own will? [5] For unto the angels hath he not put in subjection the world to come, whereof we speak. [6] But one in a certain place testified, saying, What is man, that thou art mindful of him? Or the son of man, that thou visitest him? [7] Thou madest him a little lower than the angels; Thou crownedst him with glory and honour, And didst set him over the works of thy hands: [8] Thou hast put all things in subjection under his feet. For in that he put all in subjection under him, he left nothing that is not put under him. But now we see not yet all things put under him. [9] But we see Jesus, who was made a little lower than the angels for the suffering of death, crowned with glory and honour; that he by the grace of God should taste death for every man. [10] For it became him, for whom are all things, and by whom are all things, in bringing many sons unto glory, to make the captain of their salvation perfect through sufferings. [11] For both he that sanctifieth and they who are sanctified are all of one: for which cause he is not ashamed to call them brethren, [12] saying, I will declare thy name unto my brethren, In the midst of the church will I sing praise unto thee. [13] And again, I will put my trust in him. And again, Behold I and the children which God hath given me. [14] Forasmuch then as the children are partakers of flesh and blood, he also himself likewise took part of the same; that through death he might destroy him that had the power of death, that is, the devil; [15] and deliver them who through fear of death were all their lifetime subject to bondage. [16] For verily he took not on him the nature of angels; but he took on him the seed of Abraham. [17] Wherefore in all things it behoved him to be made like unto his brethren, that he might be a merciful and faithful high priest in things pertaining to God, to make reconciliation for the sins of the people. [18] For in that he himself hath suffered being tempted, he is able to succour them that are tempted.

Note for 20241118

The best thing I have ever done in my life was when I answered the call one night, saying, "Here I am Lord." Here I am, years later, still learning day by day, from a Brilliant Teacher, brought by The Word of GOD, in a foreign language, but the Word, known and confirmed within. Praise be to GOD above and our Lord Jesus Christ for Mercy and Grace. The Love of GOD which brought unto us, the Hope unto Salvation that we no longer have to suffer the separation from GOD as we once had. Now the foolish things are left behind, that which is wicked, purged from us and resisted by the strength received from Christ. Overcomers until the end of our journey here on Earth, purposed by our Father in Heaven, and so we know to say Amen; that the Truth of GOD has found its way to us, by a marriage of the soul to the Holy Spirit of GOD poured out in us. That we may know the Liberty of Christ in us, to live unto righteousness and sanctification, in the process of deliverance unto our ultimate redemption at Christ's return, the moment of our awaiting. Unto GOD our Father and our Lord Jesus Christ be all the Glory and Praise forever and ever. Amen!

It is the Lord that saved us. We are but receiving a free gift. It is the Lord that transforms us from within, and establishes our faith within our hearts, minds and souls. He is our strength, He is the Pillar of our faith, that removed the teeth of death, which we no longer have to fear. For as the Lord keeps count of the hair upon our head, so He keeps count of our days and breaths. He sustains us. He directs us and corrects us, catching us when we fall and place us again on firm ground. Our success comes by standing in agreement to GOD'S Will, for GOD is Spirit and GOD is Love; even the Love of GOD bound in our hearts unto the Salvation of all mankind. His Will be done, Amen.

I was a sinner, found guilty of sin. Yes, even I knew that I was in peril of losing my eternal life. I was trapped, with no way out. Caged even within my own mind, abused by thoughts I would rather not have. There I was found of GOD, desperate for salvation from the turmoils and abuse found within my own self. But, The Lord lifted me out. He brought my mind to His peace within. He calmed the panic in my soul, and subdued the rage found within. With rage, hate fled from within me; and the Love of GOD settled in my heart, that now bears witness of the Salvation I have received of The Lord my God, in the Name of Jesus Christ His Son, who paid the full price of my debt of sin upon the cross in my stead. He healed me. He lifted me out of despair. He brought His peace within me, and gave me rest. Now I can sleep peacefully at night, because the Lord has taken me up in His hand.

I share this with you today, as the response of my soul to the reading of today, for what the Lord has done for me, He will do for you if you permit Him. He took the yoke upon my shoulders off from me, and replaced it with His yoke and now I walk in His way, guided by His Word. Like a bit in my mouth, the Word of GOD keeps me on track, guiding and teaching and correcting as I breathe. What the Lord has done for me, He will do for you. When I slip, when I stumble as to fall; now I know, the Lord's hand will catch me, before I fall. The Lord is the Author and the Finisher of my Faith. He is the Rock of my Foundation. So, the promises of GOD, by The Word of GOD has become mine, as the Word of GOD came to reside within me, by The Will of GOD in His Love of me. What He has done for me, He will do for you. Wait on the Lord, place your Trust in Him.

Wait on The Lord. Yes! Go into your inner room and wait on Him. Call on the Name that you have been given. For the Word says, that they that seek the Lord earnestly will find Him. When He calls, answer like Samuel, "Here I am Lord." Meditate upon the Word of GOD. Leave your cares with Him.

Shalom
