Luke 12:13-34 KJV

[13] And one of the company said unto him, Master, speak to my brother, that he divide the inheritance with me. [14] And he said unto him, Man, who made me a judge or a divider over you? [15] And he said unto them, Take heed, and beware of covetousness: for a man's life consisteth not in the abundance of the things which he possesseth. [16] And he spake a parable unto them, saying, The ground of a certain rich man brought forth plentifully: [17] and he thought within himself, saying, What shall I do, because I have no room where to bestow my fruits? [18] And he said, This will I do: I will pull down my barns, and build greater; and there will I bestow all my fruits and my goods. [19] And I will say to my soul, Soul, thou hast much goods laid up for many years; take thine ease, eat, drink, and be merry. [20] But God said unto him, Thou fool, this night thy soul shall be required of thee: then whose shall those things be, which thou hast provided? [21] So is he that layeth up treasure for himself, and is not rich toward God. [22] And he said unto his disciples, Therefore I say unto you, Take no thought for your life, what ye shall eat; neither for the body, what ye shall put on. [23] The life is more than meat, and the body is more than raiment. [24] Consider the ravens: for they neither sow nor reap; which neither have storehouse nor barn; and God feedeth them: how much more are ye better than the fowls? [25] And which of you with taking thought can add to his stature one cubit? [26] If ye then be not able to do that thing which is least, why take ye thought for the rest? [27] Consider the lilies how they grow: they toil not, they spin not; and yet I say unto you, that Solomon in all his glory was not arrayed like one of these. [28] If then God so clothe the grass, which is to day in the field, and to morrow is cast into the oven; how much more will he clothe you, O ye of little faith? [29] And seek not ye what ye shall eat, or what ye shall drink, neither be ye of doubtful mind. [30] For all these things do the nations of the world seek after: and your Father knoweth that ye have need of these things. [31] But rather seek ye the kingdom of God; and all these things shall be added unto you. [32] Fear not, little flock; for it is your Father's good pleasure to give you the kingdom. [33] Sell that ye have, and give alms; provide yourselves bags which wax not old, a treasure in the heavens that faileth not, where no thief approacheth, neither moth corrupteth. [34] For where your treasure is, there will your heart be also.

Man always wants more. Man wants to rest from his labour, sit back and enjoy the fruit of it. We have spoken quite a bit about the kingdoms of man, and how it is against the Word and the Kingdom of GOD. It is a counter narrative, it seeks for worldly abundance, forsaking the Kingdom of GOD, even just in nature and who and what is depended upon. Christ did not say that a rich person cannot attain the Kingdom of GOD, He said it is hard for a rich man. For profit business, has a lure to darkness for it seeks to profit from the poor. Solomon wrote, to give to the poor is to lend to GOD. Matthew 25:40 in full view in the efforts of man. The Word of GOD says, the wealth of the wicked is stored up for the righteous. Shall we forget yesterday's note then? What about the ox and the laborers? What do you labour for, bigger barns?

You know, I thank GOD that I never had much in this world, for it kept my eyes wide open. I am like the grass in the field, here today, but someday I might be like the dust of the earth. I say might, because not all of us will die, but all of us will change and that is in God's Hand, not mine. Here, I labour for God's Kingdom and it is my choice. The Lord has preserved me, healed me and fed me and placed my head in shelter. My life has brought my focus on GOD, Christ Jesus is my Savior.

I have paid attention to the words of man. In social media, for one, everyone speaks their piece of mind. The heart is laid bare, the fruit are placed in plain view for all to see, and what does man wonder after? Some days, I wonder if man would hear God's call over the noise and chaos of this world. Fortunately, GOD called me in the middle of the night while I was sleeping, else I too might have missed it. Oh, friends! If I had to share with you why I lay my cameras down, it would terrify you. Who makes an image for man to worship? What is worship, but him you do all you do for? We make excuses for our errors so we can continue in our transgressions against our Father in Heaven. Narrow is the way, and few that find it. Now my life's task has become, to stay on the road I found. I too sought my own kingdom first back then, and I saw the price man will pay for that effort that superseded all, even at the cost of another. Man treads on one another to attain a kingdom that leads to death. What is the image that man worships? If you open your eyes wide enough, you might see that image in the mirror.

That is why I put down photography, I could no longer earn a living from that which made those images for man to worship anymore. Extreme, by today's measures, I know. But, Abraham's father was an idol maker too. And when Abraham destroyed those idols his father made, GOD called him into separation, out of his father's house, to go to a foreign land GOD would give his descendants. A nation in war right now, for the land of their inheritance.

[1] There is therefore now no condemnation to them which are in Christ Jesus, who walk not after the flesh, but after the Spirit. [2] For the law of the Spirit of life in Christ Jesus hath made me free from the law of sin and death. [3] For what the law could not do, in that it was weak through the flesh, God sending his own Son in the likeness of sinful flesh, and for sin, condemned sin in the flesh: [4] that the righteousness of the law might be fulfilled in us, who walk not after the flesh, but after the Spirit. [5] For they that are after the flesh do mind the things of the flesh; but they that are after the Spirit the things of the Spirit. [6] For to be carnally minded is death; but to be spiritually minded is life and peace. [9] But ye are not in the flesh, but in the Spirit, if so be that the Spirit of God dwell in you. Now if any man have not the Spirit of Christ, he is none of his. [10] And if Christ be in you, the body is dead because of sin; but the Spirit is life because of righteousness. [11] But if the Spirit of him that raised up Jesus from the dead dwell in you, he that raised up Christ from the dead shall also quicken your mortal bodies by his Spirit that dwelleth in you. [12] Therefore, brethren, we are debtors, not to the flesh, to live after the flesh. [13] For if ye live after the flesh, ye shall die: but if ye through the Spirit do mortify the deeds of the body, ye shall live. [14] For as many as are led by the Spirit of God, they are the sons of God. [15] For ye have not received the spirit of bondage again to fear; but ye have received the Spirit of adoption, whereby we cry, Abba, Father. [16] The Spirit itself beareth witness with our spirit, that we are the children of God: [17] and if children, then heirs; heirs of God, and joint-heirs with Christ; if so be that we suffer with him, that we may be also glorified together. [18] For I reckon that the sufferings of this present time are not worthy to be compared with the glory which shall be revealed in us. [19] For the earnest expectation of the creature waiteth for the manifestation of the sons of God. [20] For the creature was made subject to vanity, not willingly, but by reason of him who hath subjected the same in hope, [21] because the creature itself also shall be delivered from the bondage of corruption into the glorious liberty of the children of God. [22] For we know that the whole creation groaneth and travaileth in pain together until now. [23] And not only they, but ourselves also, which have the firstfruits of the Spirit, even we ourselves groan within ourselves, waiting for the adoption, to wit, the redemption of our body. [24] For we are saved by hope: but hope that is seen is not hope: for what a man seeth, why doth he yet hope for? [25] But if we hope for that we see not, then do we with patience wait for it. [26] Likewise the Spirit also helpeth our infirmities: for we know not what we should pray for as we ought: but the Spirit itself maketh intercession for us with groanings which cannot be uttered. [27] And he that searcheth the hearts knoweth what is the mind of the Spirit, because he maketh intercession for the saints according to the will of God. [28] And we know that all things work together for good to them that love God, to them who are the called according to his purpose. [29] For whom he did foreknow, he also did predestinate to be conformed to the image of his Son, that he might be the firstborn among many brethren.
