Note for 20240902 - Revelation 4 KJV - The Open Door

The Open Door

Announcements

I am holding back in the images with intention, because I do not want to create a false vision of the Throne of GOD.

Hear the note for today, as spoken in the Holy Spirit.

Audio Version of the Note

Revelation 4 KJV

[1] After this I looked, and, behold, a door was opened in heaven: and the first voice which I heard was as it were of a trumpet talking with me; which said, Come up hither, and I will shew thee things which must be hereafter. [2] And immediately I was in the spirit: and, behold, a throne was set in heaven, and one sat on the throne. [3] And he that sat was to look upon like a jasper and a sardine stone: and there was a rainbow round about the throne, in sight like unto an emerald. [4] And round about the throne were four and twenty seats: and upon the seats I saw four and twenty elders sitting, clothed in white raiment; and they had on their heads crowns of gold. [5] And out of the throne proceeded lightnings and thunderings and voices: and there were seven lamps of fire burning before the throne, which are the seven Spirits of God. [6] And before the throne there was a sea of glass like unto crystal: and in the midst of the throne, and round about the throne, were four beasts full of eyes before and behind. [7] And the first beast was like a lion, and the second beast like a calf, and the third beast had a face as a man, and the fourth beast was like a flying eagle. [8] And the four beasts had each of them six wings about him; and they were full of eyes within: and they rest not day and night, saying, Holy, holy, holy, Lord God Almighty, which was, and is, and is to come. [9] And when those beasts give glory and honour and thanks to him that sat on the throne, who liveth for ever and ever, [10] the four and twenty elders fall down before him that sat on the throne, and worship him that liveth for ever and ever, and cast their crowns before the throne, saying, [11] Thou art worthy, O Lord, to receive glory and honour and power: for thou hast created all things, and for thy pleasure they are and were created.

Cross References of Old Testament to Revelation

Note for 20240902

I can't possibly tell you how terrified I am to write at this moment. I remember the last verse in this Book. But, I will Trust the Lord this morning, as I have trusted Him in the mornings before, if not more now, for all that He has revealed to me. Worthy is the Lord of all power, praise and strength; for He is the King of kings and LORD of lords. He created the Heavens and the Earth and all that is in it. Blessed be the Name of the LORD, who was and is and is to come. Hallelujah, Amen.

For a moment, do not ask questions within. Just permit the writing to guide your soul to see. Be still and know that GOD is upon His Throne, being Honored by frightful beasts, all the time. Don't question it, just hear it. And of the 24 elders, why question who they are, for they were given such glory by the LORD. If we had to know, John would have been commanded to write it down. Accept what is written, believe it. Such majesty and glory, that the most frightful thing on Earth, pose no threat against the Throne of GOD. Now imagine, standing on that sea of glass like crystal, before the LORD your GOD. What a frightful consideration, just by imagination alone, like a grasshopper in His sight. Do not let the physical restrain your consideration.

You know, when GOD showed His might to the Israelites on the mount where Moses received the Law from GOD, they ran away, saying that GOD must speak to Moses, and that they will hear it of him. And when John, in Revelation 1, turned around to see Who it was that was speaking to him, He fell down as dead. How casual then, has our interaction with GOD the Father become? Where is the reverence, of Him that created us, and gave us the breath of life, that made us living souls? To Moses He said, remove the shoes from upon your feet, for you are standing on Holy ground, speaking from the burning bush that was not consumed. It is of This Mighty GOD that Christ spoke of, when He said, that He and the Father will make their abode in us. That the Kingdom of GOD is in us. Who am I to argue, or to say anything else in this regard? To believe in Christ Jesus, is to believe the words He spoke too, and to obey His commandments, as best I can. For it is also written, that the good work the Father has started in us, He will complete. So do we stand, awaiting all that was promised that will come, to the Glory of our Almighty GOD in Heaven, by Whom all was created. Now, we still know in part only, but all will be revealed to us, just as it was promised.

The Lord Jesus Christ said that no flesh can enter into the Kingdom of GOD, and here we read how John went into the Spirit in a moment, when he was called to see the things which will still be. I wonder, if we would hear the call, if we would recognize the Lord, if He should call our name? And of course, I want to say, "Yes!" Are we keeping the watch though? Are we awaiting the return of Christ, or are we considering it in a "we will cross that bridge when we get there" type of way? Our lives here must be significant in some way, for the Lord does all according to His perfect purpose. Are we paying attention, or are we considering only where our seat may be in heaven?

Today, I am struck with a sense of wonder. Are we too casual in our approach to GOD the Father? Just remember, Christ himself taught His disciple to pray to His Father in Heaven. Christ honored His Father in Heaven, is that not what we are called to do too? What is it that was left behind for us to do, to honor and obey; and do we meet the mark? Or... Are we still obsessed with building out a life for ourselves on an earth we are assured, by the Word of GOD, that it will pass away.

Matthew 6:33 (KJV)

"But seek ye first the kingdom of God, and his righteousness; and all these things shall be added unto you."

What is it that we seek first? Our own will? What is required of us? Why are we here on earth and what may God's purpose be for it? Suddenly, my wants and needs somehow seem insignificant, such small things in a greater consideration. And of all these around me, on the same journey, so many are heading the wrong way, and I am saved by mercy and grace from GOD, available to all who will believe in His Son, that He sent for His purposes too.

John was taken up to see, and write it down for us. So we, not having seen it, may believe and be blessed by it. Now, it is still some fearful sight that I have not seen, but the day will come as it is promised, that I may find myself on that sea of glass. Oh! I believe that it will look just like John wrote it down here for us. Do you believe, or will you wait to see like Thomas?

Shalom

Verse of The Day

(YouVersion - Expanded from verse 19)

Psalm 94:14-19 KJV

[14] For the LORD will not cast off his people, Neither will he forsake his inheritance. [15] But judgment shall return unto righteousness: And all the upright in heart shall follow it. [16] Who will rise up for me against the evildoers? Or who will stand up for me against the workers of iniquity? [17] Unless the LORD had been my help, My soul had almost dwelt in silence. [18] When I said, My foot slippeth; Thy mercy, O LORD, held me up. [19] In the multitude of my thoughts within me Thy comforts delight my soul.

Psalm 94:22-23 KJV

[22] But the LORD is my defence; And my God is the rock of my refuge. [23] And he shall bring upon them their own iniquity, and shall cut them off in their own wickedness; Yea, the LORD our God shall cut them off.
