Today, the world and the children in it, celebrates what is known as father's day. Just a few days ago, youth day was celebrated. These celebrations leave me a little unsettled. Here is why: The Word of GOD, in the 10 commandments says,

    Exodus 20:12 (NIV)    “Honor your father and your mother, so that you may live long in the land the Lord your God is giving you."

then,

    Matthew 23:9 (NIV)     "And do not call anyone on earth ‘father,’ for you have one Father, and he is in heaven."

My concern is that the world gives 1 day a year, which the Word says should be a daily thing. The world presents a watered-down version of it. Understand?

Prayer

LORD, My Father GOD in heaven; blessed be YOUR NAME, YHVH.

Father of our Lord and Saviour, Jesus Christ; YOUR KINGDOM come YOUR WILL be done.

Father, send YOUR HOLY MESSENGER to the hearts of man; to proclaim the Truth in their inner chambers.

We are the children of Adam, who YOU created, Father.

LORD, this world is full of evil plans and wicked devices. So many do not know when they are made to play a part in unrighteous things.

YOUR WORD is established and True, forever.

Give YOUR children a thirst for Truth and quench it. LORD.

I AM your FATHER, Mattit'YAHU. On this day of fathers, let me then state these things clear. I am the Father of the fatherless, those abandoned by their earthly fathers. I stand for them. I stand for the orphans. How pretentious can one day be; all for what? So someone can make a peak profit in a quiet season. Remember, Mattit'YAHU; this world had greed as motive. Enough of this!

Rather write on this: I am the LORD your GOD, that is who I am. What have you done that is deserving of any honour then? There is one good thing that all can do if they choose; that is to admit their sin. Yea, repent of it and come to Me. I will lead you on the right path; I will give you sense. Walk not in the folly of fools but dress yourself in righteousness. Yea, that means; do that which is right to do, always. If you admit your sin and repent; then it can be forgiven. Then you can escape the day of judgment of the sinner. Yea! Good advice, but who will listen to My commands? My commandments are not optional on a contract. Enough!

Fathers, be a father for your children; teach them in My ways, your Father in Heaven. Children, honour then your parents as you should, by gaining wisdom and walking in My ways, so your fathers won't have concerns that you will give in to foolish things. This is how you honour your father on earth, by Honouring his Father in Heaven, everyday. Enough! No more silliness.
